You have been cordially invited to an all-expenses paid masquerade ball at my estate in the Blue Mountains, Australia. Formal attire and masks required.

Your transportation stops. Looking around, you see snow-covered mountain peaks as far as the eye can see. The first stars of twilight twinkle lightly above. Two doormen open the entrance to a large manor and take your coats. A blonde man wearing a black suit greets you as you walk in.

"Welcome to my estate. The other guests shall be here soon, feel free to look around. This is the ballroom, over there is the dining room, and the lookout is out the door behind me to the right. Now this is a masquerade, so get to know your fellow guests, try and guess who they really are!"

Could we simply confirm our gender though conversation? While I see nothing wrong with saying our gender it would be tedious to type male or female next to our names on every post. Perhaps if it s desperately needed you could have a list on the front page with all the guests' names, genders, and guessed forum names as we find them out. A sort of key to go back too if needed.

For example.

• Slagar the Cruel, Presumably Male, FD Unknown

Simply add to the list as more guests arrive, and their genders and possibly Forum Name are discovered.
