TPBM has heard of The Dark Is Rising Sequence.  (I read the first book last year and thought it was kinda boring.  But I was at the library the other day, and on a whim, I grabbed the second one.)

Yeah, my brother had the whole series in a bind-up.

TPBM Has heard of the Raven's Gate series. I've never read them but I've seen them and my brother also had the first three.

  I have now.  Dunno what it's about, but I now know what the name of the series is.  :P

  TPBM watches Marvel's Daredevil.  (My brother and I started watching it together, and I'm quite surprised that we were able to find a show we both enjoyed.  We're actually in between episodes right now, 'cause he's doing the dishes while we wait for it to buffer a bit.)

  Pretty much.  There are a few exceptions, but for the main part, I'm left wanting when I watch film adaptions.

  TPBM has watched/watches/wants to watch Steven Universe.  (If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend this show.  It may be a little childish at times (it's a kids' show, after all), but it's fantastic and I just can't get enough of it!)

  Dude, you should totally watch it!  I was hooked by episode one.  ^-^

  TPBM got a free slurpee from 7/11 today.  (I got one, but it wasn't as satisfying as I thought it'd be.  I've come to the realization that slurpees or slushies or whatever give me really bad headaches, which is very not fun.  I guess I'll just stick to homemade ones, where I can control how much sugar and flavouring goes into it.  ::))
