I can no longer shop at Target. I'm boycotting it. And I hate Walmart, way to busy, crowded and they don't give military discounts. Until further notice I shall acquire everything I need at the dollar store and Trader Joe's.

As much as I like Target, we actually do practically all of our shopping at Costco.

Ohhhh.  That?

We mostly shop at a supermarket chain that I'm not at liberty to disclose because it would reveal my general area.  Our local Walmart is not exactly fun.  Somehow we always end up spending way more time in there than we intended, and there are always kids running around messing with stuff and their parents don't care, and the customers are usually dressed sloppily.  (I actually feel kinda better about my appearance whenever I go there. :P)  Plus, ours is way understaffed.

Unimaginative

I went to Walmart today and saw two high-school age girls I've never seen shopping for frozen pizzas wearing full greatcoats.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA what a joke. As if a ban would stop anyone from using their preferred bathroom anyway. Not only is it frightfully stupid and pointless (no one except the people who support the NC bill are going to follow it) as well as literally impossible to enforce, it's also completely illegal (couldn't find my original source which was a different facet of it's illegality due to a piece of legislation passed by Obama ages ago but whatever).

Jeez America is crazy with all your weirdos in supermarkets (like what even? Crazy people at Walmart is a meme? Like an actual, honest to Zeus meme? You'd be hard-pressed to find Waitrose or Sainsburys filled with crazies.) and your religiopolitics. At least our politicians over here know better than to dabble in things that aren't any of their business. Just a shame that they're awful at the stuff that is their business.

Lol, I know, it is weird that the "people of Walmart" thing is a meme at all. XD  I don't know how on earth it started.

Also, Han: for reals?!

Mhera

Saw a kid walking through Walmart with a piglet wrapped in a blanket tucked under his arm.

Eulaliaaa!

Walmart.... there's a lot of crazy people there :P

Anyhow, that reminds me. I was at Lowe's today and a bird had built its nest in one of their products, so instead of tearing it down, they had a sign up that said not to disturb them. I thought that was cool (and the baby birds were so fluffy). That's something Walmart would have never done :P
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

I saw an employee throw a broom at a bird in Walmart...

Y'all, Arkansas is home to the Walmart, so we got the craziest Rednecks you can imagine in those stores. One day SEVEN cop cars and an Ambulance were outside the whole day. It gets bad sometimes.

Someone walked into a Walmart and took it all in. :P
I have two Walmarts near me, with two separate demographics visiting it. Both have their special weirdos who are horrific. ;D

But that isn't the point, and it isn't a joke. Target has practically said that any old guy can decide he wants to be a girl for the day walk into the girls' bathroom after my little sister and I have to be okay with it. Well I'm not okay with it, and I refuse to support a company that blatantly allows that.

It's not about banning people from being idiots about transgender beliefs, it's about the safety of American citizens. Mainly women. At any store I can and will stop guys from entering the female bathroom after my sister, and I have done it before, and I will continue to do so.

I really couldn't care less about girls coming into the guys room, I mean seriously what are they going to do to me? But perversion is an obviously male dominated field, and any number of males can and will do it on a whim. So really the boycott has come down to simply keeping people safe. And that is why I support the boycott, you might laugh Jet, you might be okay with this, with your family being victims, but I am not okay with my mother, sisters, or cousins being molested and hazed.

Well as far as Walmart goes you could always shop at Sam's which is a little better. It is also run by the same company which is a bit odd seeing how different the stores are.

Its because Sam's is a wholesaler, not a supermarket in the specific sense.
My Sam's isn't good, it's almost as bad as the Walmart. Costco is good.

Disagreeing with the NC bill does not automatically mean that someone is "okay with their family being victims". That's a classic example of a straw man, and I'm not sure it's kosher to make that kind of insinuation about another forum member.

Sam's does have a membership fee; I suppose that plays a slight role in weeding out the element of society that tends to frequent places like Wal-Mart.

Alright James, it was a hypothetical statement. I do not think Jet, or anyone else for that matter is alright with that happening. Which was the point I was trying to make.

I made that statement because Jet mentioned how pointless the bill was, and I formulated the argument, hypothetically showing him that the bill has a point, and is important; and how through inactivity these problems rise.
I do not regret a single word on that post, and I stand by them.

That and it takes some effort to put those giant packages on your cart. :P
