I'm not sure I like that the number of thanks appears under our names, though.

Be aware that these opinions are coming from a hypersensitive perfectionist, but I honestly don't. I'm excited about the "Say Thanks" function (gratitude is an attitude!), but having the number of thanks displayed with the name and rank, not so much. It almost makes it seem like receiving thanks is a competition, and the numbers may not be reliable (for example, I just went on a thanking rampage, so it's likely that they're currently biased to the people who have helped me in particular).

Unfortunately, the "Say Thanks" function and the extra line under the Username may be a package deal. If not, though, I would personally like to see the latter gone and the former still around.

Perhaps I'm just overreacting, but I wanted to come out and say it.

These are my thought exactly. I already felt compelled to try to earn more thanks.

The previous post thing, I think is a quirk of Sisyphus (which was very much a WIP). I thought its functionality was good enough to give it a trial run. It is definitely a diamond in the rough, though; in addition to this, it chokes if you try to do anything with more than one post at a time. I like the idea, but if it turns out to be too much of a hassle, we might get rid of it.

As far as country selection go, it's your profile; do what you want with it. I'd personally prefer for it to be the country of someone's birth, or the country they currently reside in/are a citizen of, but it's up to y'all what you want to do with it.

I saw the "Thanks" count thing potentially being a problem from the moment I installed it, but decided to leave it in to see how that'd fly. Now that I've gotten some feedback, I went with that and my instincts and turned that part off.
