I feel like it would be hilarious if the existing censors were replaced with user's names. I volunteer myself to be one.

If this is real, I think that this would be hilarious, and I also volunteer.
(Even though I'm not a fan of censors.)

   This looks like it's probably just a troll, but in the event it isn't...

   I'm not sure it's ethical for you (an admin with sole control of the website) to censor words simply because you don't like them. I mean, actual profanities and the like, fair enough, but...

Phon is, but it doesn't seem likely to come up much. I can't recall it ever being used here, or on the old forum.

It's a long story, but to make it short, I'm going to have to basically redo most of the special work I did, as far as the themes, mods, etc. go. It shouldn't take anywhere near as long as it did to implement it in the first place, since I have my backup to work from, but we are going to be slumming it for a little while.

You can see that the censor has gone nuts too, now that the mod that made it work is gone.

It's complicated. Suffice it to say that I had to transition to UTF-8. We had questioned whether we should have done it before, but I didn't at the time because I thought it might mess things up, and there was no need to rock the boat. Well, apparently those concerns were justified, because during the transition things got messed up.

I don't like things being so obviously bad; the site looked better than this when I first put it up in December. But, I figured that y'all would want to have access to your posts and be able to reply as soon as possible. So, it's up, and it's ugly.
