I've heard some about this, but have never seen it. If it has Viggo Mortensen in it though, I'm down.
I've seen a few clips of it back when we had Netflix.  It's really dark and violent and has strong language, jsyk.  Deserves the R rating.

It's not rated R here, only MA15+... And the book is worse than the movie, sans language. It [the book] literally contains the "eats babies" trope. And we had to read it for class last term. Yeah.

Well, Gnoflet joined, and after I got over my mini aneurism from how they misspelled poor Gonflett's name, I figured it had to be done.
I think he was actually on the old forum with that name.
