Just back from seeing this. It is absolutely stunning, my mind is completely blown! Totally worth waiting a year for.

I lost interest in the AC series after 3. They're just dragging it out for way too long, is it ever going to end? Though I do have this theory that Ubisoft are steadily progressing through time until a final game set in the modern day, in which case I would get all the other games.

Regardless, I have mixed feelings about the movie. Some parts of it look good, but a lot of it makes me go "what were they thinking?" The movie's Animus is completely ridiculous, for example.

Well, as someone who's never played the games and isn't really bothered, I have no complaints against it. I haven't felt that immersed in a film for a while.
