If you have read the Warriors series you likely know (or are familiar with) what a special edition is. In this context, it's a separate book about a single character from the series that was never a lead (and they are the main throughout, no switching POVs).
I was wondering...
Would this have worked in the context of Redwall?
Who would you like to know more about? Do you think they could get their own book? Etc.

Blaggut. Needs. His. Own. Book.
Why they try to tear the mountains down to bring in a couple more
More people, more scars upon the land

And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County
Down by the Green River where Paradise lay
Well, I'm sorry my son, but you're too late in asking
Mister Peabody's coal train has hauled it away

                ~ John Prine

Ashleg

Agreed there.
What happened to Blaggut after the events of the book he was in? Or before? We could totally find out.

I also think Sawney Rath should get a book because we only got to see him in the events of Taggerung where he's old and sick.

Sawney would be cool too, I'm thinking mayhaps something more about Tiria after she went to rule at Green Isle, a book regarding that would be cool.

The Tiria thing would probably be a sequel rather than a special addition, which are more like add-ons than continuations due to not being written around one of the major leads.

Who's that character you brought up? With a swear in the middle of their name? XD

Ohh, who was it that Faiy and I were talking about who needed their own story. . .

Oh, well definitely Verduga Greeneyes. Perhaps a headcanon fanfic. (I'm tempted to write it.)
Other than that, I'm not entirely sure. . . I feel like a lot of the books are good just the way they are, but vague references would be interesting to have legends or somesuch told about them.

Mortspear, anyone? No?

It was a story he was writing. . . I don't remember what it was about. And I kinda feel bad that I don't.

Cave potato.

Ashleg

Oh.
I guess I second that.

alexandre

Mortspear was mentioned in Lord Brocktree, I believe, he was Ungatt and Verduga's father, he was said to have some sort of kingdom up north

Oh. That guy.
Huh. Maybe that would work, but then again not really what I was talking about...

I guess you'll never know lest you've read Warriors.

doogy plum

Just thought of it, I can't believe nobody has said this yet, especially you, @Ashleg
