*Suddenly, everybeast hears screaming coming from... somewhere.  With the crunching, grinding sound of stone moving against stone, a hole opens in the ceiling.  Kade falls through and lands face first with a wet thud.*

*His painful moan is cut short as a pile of shiny red apples follow him and bury his prone figure underneath, cutting him off from the outside world.  Stone scrapes against stone as the dark opening above closes once more, leaving those who had witnessed it to wonder if the gaping passage had ever actually been there in the first place.  Kade wriggles feebly under the apples, calling out in a muffled tone*

Hello?  Anyone out there?

Not necessarily. It might lead somewhere else entirely. (Would a never ending labyrinth have a middle? If it did, I think we would have arrived in the middle)
*fills remaining space in backpack with apples* Okay, I'm ready. If we get lost, we can just kill ourselves and we'll return to this cavern. Let's go. *leads the way down corridor, holding torch high to illuminate the shadows*

*Kade quickly stuffs his pockets full of apples before hurrying after Teer, not wanting to be left behind in the encroaching darkness.* 

Wait, if we die, we end up back there?  Like, in the same way we originally arrived?

*He begins rubbing his face that he had so gracefully landed upon but just a few moments ago.*

I'd rather not take a fall like that again, I think my face got rearranged during the landing.  Does... does it look ok?

No, I don't think we fall back into the cavern. We just... appear back where we started. I guess you could make it as dramatic as you like but it doesn't have to involve any special details or moves.

Guys, you're overreacting. All we need to do is knock some holes in the walls and we'll have some hallways between the sections. We also won't have to worry about running out of room to live in because it's never-ending! It's a troll's dream.

[Sebias of Redwall]

*Suddenly, everyone hears the sounds of somebeast screaming, followed by the shape of an otter flying down the passage toward them. Sebias comes running up, covering his eyes with his hands and crashes into Teer, who then crashes into Kade, Verdauga, and Skarzs.*

Ow! *Rubs head* Hey! What are you guys doing down here? I've been here for five weeks already, still trying to find the way out! By the way, if you're ever hungry, there are some of these bats that taste...okay. Ahem, anyway, soooo did you guys bring any supplies with you?

*Catches sight of the apples. Gives a shriek of delight and starts tearing the apples to shreds with my bare teeth* Mmm, this is -*Chews, swallows*- very good! *Gulp* Much better that bats!
