Well that wasn't very nice of the, er... designer.

I believe the designer was Bloody Stupid Johnson. He's a... unique designer in that everything he builds fails spectacularly but accidentally. For example, a ditch might end up 100m deep instead of one. Or he might make pi=3 when making an organ, thereby messing up with quantum and meaning that when the device is used for sorting post... strange things happen.
