Yeah, it was heaps of fun. My full size violin is giving us trouble so I'm still playing on the 3/4, but it's good. This lesson was mostly sight reading.

I'm good at sight reading (mostly because it's basically sight reading when I haven't practiced for ages).

I'm improving at sight-reading.

I've written about two hundred words in an hour. What is wrong with me today? *leans head back in despair*

You've gotten out of the mood of your story. Same reason why MDG is going nowhere.

At least, that's my belief.
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

shisteer of nothing much

Maybe, but I don't want to accept that. I need to fight it and kill whatever it is that's stopping me from writing.

Hmmm... I'm not sure how I could incorporate that into my story. It could be done, certainly.

Yeah. I'm trying to figure out which of the scenes in my worlds I should write down. My problem is that I'm horrible at describing things.

I can describe things when I'm in a describing mood, but I'm normally not. I've been trying to improve my descriptions, which means i have the occasional lengthy description and then the rest of the story is just dialogue and action. It's really not good.

At least you can describe action pretty well.

I think I generally end up with too much dialogue and not enough description.

No kidding. I struggle with cutting off dialogue.

Speaking of, have you posted a fanfic or other work here, Booklovee?

Well, not really. My characters are almost constantly talking and they're just doing stuff while they talk. When I have them doing action without talking, it's normally described as
'They continued killing people for several minutes before so-and-so did something-a-rather.
"Oof, that was unpleasant."
So-and-so laughed cruelly and repeated the movement.' and then it's back to talking again.

No. You'll have to wait until I write a half-decent one.

If I waited that long for my own stuff, I wouldn't post any :D
