He kinda did for now, outwardly. Too many new beasts who he doesn't know what their motives are. He'll take Robert aside privately and question him as soon as possible.

When Mharbrow say "Who're your friends?", were you wanting Maut to introduce himself, or Firestripe?

Either works, depending on the disposition of your characters. If Maut would be inclined to butt in and introduce himself, do that. If it's more in character for him to wait to be introduced by Firestripe, that works too.
