RP: Summer at Lilyfall

"Well now that we've found you we need to be heading back those foxes were heading right for us."
"Oh!" Wisteria sighed heavily
"What is it?" Dawnlilly asked knowing some terrible news was pt come
"I'm going to live out my days here!"

Flo had not said anything once she heard the news. Her eyes spoke for her. She really had hoped wisteria would help them in their time of trouble. She was thinking that wisteria didn't like them anymore, she walked away disappointed.

"But why!" Dawnlilly asked eyes wide
"Because i'm old i need a peaceful place to live out my days i doubt i could make it there with those foxes!" wisteria says
"I guess that makes sense..."

Trilium grinned, "Finally! Some action! Oh, er... I mean, Sorry that yer staying, Grandma, but I think yer right."

"Yes I'm staying here!" She said stubbornly
"Well we need to get back to Lillyfall and take care of the foxes!" Dawnlilly says to the rest of them.

Trilium let out a 'whoop' and bounded out of the room and ran up to the Walltop. Her keen eyes scoured the woods and her rudder thumped impatiently.

Flo and Nom were sitting under a blossoming pear tree. They had heard everything.
"Well you heard what happened, me ole gel. It's not such a bad place you know, I might live here when this is all done. The grubs good anyway! So what's the plan now chap?" Nom said after the otters had spoken.
Flo replied wearily, " Well I guess we better go and help our home then. I understand that wisteria doesn't want to come but I wish she would help us. What are we going to do Nom?"
Nom saw the hopelessness in her eyes and tone but couldn't think of anything. Instead he said, "Have you eaten any of the wonderful Redwall vittles? They are absaballyloutely delicious! Come on we'll go to the kitchens." Taking the otters hand they walked to the abbey.

Trilium paced anxiously, her paws twitching restlessly.
"When are we goin' to head back to Lilyfall and fight those vermin?!?" She bellowed.

[Mad Maudie]

"After we get some food into us!"

Ruckador smiled darkly as the barrage of arrows sent the vermin packing back to Greage. He nodded to an otter warrior standing nearby.

"Well, that seems to have slowed them down but it won't hold them off forever. Greage is smart. He'll figure out sooner of later that there are hardly any of us that are abgle to fight. I hope the warriors return from Rewall soon."

Greage was outraged that his fighters had retreated. He snarled and kicked out, sending one vermin sprawling on his nose.  "Get back out there and bring down the barricades! I want Lilyfall, now!"

Vermin lite torches and ran towards the barricades. Before long fire was arching through the area. Ruckador sucked in a breath. How would they stop the fire?  Lilyfall would be no more if the reinforcments did not return soon...

Trilium burst into Great Hall, interrupting dinner, "I'm leavin' now, thank you for your hospitality and all but I'm itching to fight those foxes! I'll be up ahead down the path, so ye know were to find me when you lazy beats decide to head back to Lilyfall." Tril bowed low and then bounded out of Redwall.

"Grr, I'm starvin Jingle! When're we gonna get some vikkles into us?" Complained a skinny, ugly, dirty weasel to his companion, and equally disgusting female.
"I dunna, Gubble. Wait a minuet, somebeast is coming down the path! Quick now, hide!"

Flo was watching the speed of Nom eating. She was joined by a group of dibbuns who also hadn't seen the hare eat.
Nom tried causally talking to Flo as he ate his food. "Well, Flo, mmchsnuff, we are going to join,gnuffmsch, you otter pals, for a jolly old battle." Nom had finished eating in the end finishing off with a big beaker of dandelion cordial.
Flo was uncertain but she wanted to help her friends. She looked to all her friends and waited to see if anyone else was going to join Tril. She was definetly going to join then. She answered Nom,"I will if I have pals and vittles to come with me.
"Vittles?" Nom asked happily.
"Of course and the beast who eats the most gets to carry it all!" Flo smiled winningly.

Trilium open her eyes painfully, blinking as her vision became blurry. Her head throbbed, and her neck was really sore. Finally her vision became steady and she was able to make out the forms of two weasels. The male got up and sauntered over to his bound captive.
"Ahoy, Jingle! Our dinner's all woky'd up now!" He prodded Tril with the butt end of his spear.
"Let me down, you flat-face ugle-mugged gutless, ugly, brainless, spineless, snot-nosed little WEAKLINGS!" Screamed Trilium in all her anger and fury. She kicked out at the weasel, but she was  bound firmly.
"She's a nasty one, tat riverdog!" Gubble to his mate, Jingle.
"Well then I guess we should cook her slow-like, shouldn't we mate?" Sniggered Jingle.
"Aye, we should!" Gubble pulled his spear back to stab Tril, but Jingle hissed at him, "No no no, you dust-for-brains! We's gonna cook 'er alive, see?"
"Oh, yeah. I see now." Gubble said, flustered and went to add more wood to the fire.

"Hi you guys!" Caldoro said joyfully. "I've been observing you all the way!"

"Great why didn't you come out before?" Relfir said sighing.
