I got a VERY detailed synopsis (here they are)

http://www.pluggedin.com/movies/intheaters/hunger-games.aspx
http://www.focusonthefamily.com/parenting/protecting_your_family/book-reviews/h/hunger-games.aspx

I agree with the people on these sites.

@ Spidermonkey: I got to know the position she was in better and I still say the same thing

please recheck my earlier post, I stated it wrong and confused many people

(if your wondering, I'm seeing the fact that whole thing is a gruesome ordeal)

Okay, thank you for actually having a understanding of the books, I'll stop taking part in this debate, as not everybody has to think the same things.

I'm done debating, because you don't have to agree with me, and you seem firm in your opinion.

oh, ok.  Thank you for the discussion.

No problem, I like healthy debates, just not when they turn into an insult battle.

I don't exactly see how you can agree with those sites as none of them presented the opinion you have here.  If it's the violence that upsets you, don't say the character was wrong, just say the violence upsets you and you'd prefer not to read it.

<Post 311: Focus your attention here>

The sites were mainly for the purpose of showing where I know about the story (their opinion was stated elsewhere)

I just saw a video clip of RUE dying, I felt AWFUL for Katniss, I understand she felt gut-wrenching hatred toward her enemies

1. I hate the fact (as Flandor stated) the senseless bloodshed
2. I also hate that Katniss desided to take revenge against those who wronged her (I'd feel the same way)

My aunt recently bought a Kindle and gave me her three Hunger Games books because she was getting rid of them. So happy!  ;D

I've read all of them, and they were AWESOME! Third one was really depressing, though.

I've been seeing the DVD at Meijer, too. I wanna buy it so bad!!! I saw the movie when it came out in theaters in March, twice actually; once with my parents and brother, and once as a school field trip. PURE EPICNESS!!!

I read all three! They were awesome!

THIS IS BAD if I was a moderator I would close this discussion BECAUSE it is about CHILDREN killing each other NO I've heard alot about this book and it seems to me it is a BLOODTHIRSTY movie that was created be a man that was possessed by the DEVIL

Calm down, you don't know anything about the book. First of all, it is created.  By a woman, and this discussion was started by a mod. The book isn't mindless slaughter, it actually emotion.
