Glorphim nearly jumped into the rigging when he heard Fellam's voice, and broke into a cold sweat after words, "Whew! That was sure close!"

Strunga: "That's why you don't make comments about how the captain is runnin things!"

"Well let's see here, you help keep an Abbey that has stood more tests than a shcolar in a library, one that has helped countless travelers on their way, saved countless lives... Is that being useless my friend?" The black squirrel asked sarcasticaly.

Mobble winced slightly, shaking his head. "I-I guess not. Well... I gotta go to the orchard for training. Bye!" The dormouse quickly ran off, nervous under Ashe's gaze.

Fauve ran into Great Hall just as Mobble ran out. Crashing into each other, the pair fell to the floor.
"Oof! Mobble, why are you in such a hurry?" The mousemaid demanded, rubbing her forehead. Mobble blushed. "Just gettin' ta training.... Sorry Fauve."
Fauve saw how embarrassed Mobble was, and she helped him up. " 'Tis okay, go on ahead, friend." And with that Mobble ran off.

"Ashe! There you are. We need you to come to the orchard to help with the training." Coraka walked up to the black squirrel silently. She gazed up at the Great Tapestry and Martin's sword. "Sure is a good lookin' blade. Hm, maybe we should ask Abbot Dinken about it later. So, ye ready Ashe?"

Ashe was startled, "Huh? oh yes.. umm... hmmm... Strange.... Would you mind showing me to the orchard? I've never been here before." The squirrel asked Coraka.

Coraka nodded and wandered toward the orchard. "Ashe, what do you think is going on at Salamandastron? Could it be to late?"

"If Martin the Warrior is anything like I've heard, I seriously doubt that it is too late for us to help," the black squirrel answered as he followed the Racoon

Coraka laughed. "We can hope. Now, what should we begin with?" She addressed all of the creatures who stood on the lawn as she and Ashe reached the orchard.

"I'd say start with the basics" the black squirrel said, "Who here can run the length of the walltops twice with a well packed haversack without stopping?"

Fauve jumped up and down, waving her paw. "Oh oh! I want to erm... Show everybeast to give it their best! Can I do it? Pa-leeeease?!"

Ashe smiled at Fauve's eagerness, "Nobody has to do it, and I personally don't believe we have the time for it. I want to make sure you are all capable of going on this venture."

But Fauve was already off, without a haversack too. The mousemaid ran her best, and returned puffing and huffing.

"Whoa! Slow down Missie!" Ashe shouted with a slight laugh. "Well, I guess enthusiasm won't be the trouble!" Getting seroius again he asked, "Who here knows how to use a sling?"

BIC: Coraka was laughing uproariously at Fauve's winded expression. "Ho ho! That was hilarious! No offense, Fauve." Wiping the tears from her eyes, the Raccoon turned serious. "Well now, who knows how to use a sling?"
One mole raised his paw. "Oi, oim knows how ter use de slingeys. Shoild oi show yers?"
Fauve nodded. "Please do, Yero."
Yero pulled the small wooden sling from his belt. Aiming at the wall, he shot a small pebble with good accuracy. "Oi, dat's what oi can does, burr aye."
Coraka turned to Ashe to see what he thought.
