RP: The Mountain Under Siege

"A sling is a lot different from a slingSHOT my friend." Turning to a capable looking otter (not sure what to name him) he asked, "Being an otter, you should be able to handle a sling well right?"

OOC: He posted something that was a little confusing to me, I posted that we (he's a really good friend of mine) would have to wait and see what people thought. Then he deleted it.... Sadly. He was over for about an hour this morning and we sorted alot of stuff out.

OOC: Ah. Random question that you don't have to answer because I'm just annoying and curious. Are you by any chance home schooled?

BIC: Coraka looked at the otter. "Could you show eveyrbeast how it's done, friend?"

OOC: (sarcastic voice) how did you figure THAT out?!  YES I'm homeschooled... And proud of it. BIC:

Forma Flumerunner (the otter) unwound a sling from his waist as he remarked, "A' course I can handle a sling." He picked a small smooth river pebble to load into his sling, swung the sling into a dizzying blur, and fired the pebble forcefully up and out.

Ashe nodded his thanks to Flumerunner, "As you can see, a sling is a real weapon. Unlike the slingshot which is more of a practice piece. The sling is also a easy weapon to make, and find ammo for... BUT it can be tricky learning how to use. Seeing as how we are in a rush, I'd like you all to find your personal weapon of choice and report back her in 10 minutes. Thank you my friends."

OOC: Wow, I am too. I had to do 8 math lessons today.... Meh. I'm also pretty proud of being homeschooled. And, (sarcastic voice) I didn't want to ask 'cause I didn't want to be annoying. But I did. And I am. And owe... I cracked my finger...
BIC: Coraka watched as the Redwallers ran around trying to find their weapons. "Well then... Something tells me that something else is going to go wrong..."

"Something else?" the black squirrel asked as he turned a quizecle glance on Coraka, "First of all, what went wrong in the first place? And second, what do think is going to go wrong now?"

OOC: Curiosity is a talent that should never be considered annoying.

BIC: Coraka replied slowly. "Well, first of all Salamandastron is in trouble. And I think that somebeast may hurt themselves....

"We are going to help Salamandastron in a war, the likely hood of nobeast getting hurt is nearly impossible." Ashe said with a sad look in his eyes, "I wish I could return here knowing that I would be bringing them all back."

OOC: Where is Mobble at?

OOC: Andrew curiosity killed the cat... since since Wisteria's name is.. well... never mind. and i will be posting soon, don't worry Andrew.

OOC: Curiosity may have killed the cat... But that's because the cat was misinformed and wasn't given answers.

OOC: Ha! true that. Oh yeah... I'M KINDA HYPER.
BIC: Mobble jumped off the barrel, the sword of Martin the Warrior in his paws. He grinned slyly. "I've got it! Now I can show everybeast how amazing I am!"

The Redwallers were starting to assemble again...

OOC: Waiting for Mobble to arrive.

OOC: where is Coraka as of.. now? still in Redwall Abbey?

OOC: Yesh, yesh she is.

BIC: Mobble ran outside, swinging the sword, screaming, "MAAAAARTTTTTIN! REDWAAAAAAL!"
Coraka gasped. "He's got Martin's sword! He'll kill somebeast if we don't stop him!"

Ashe's bow was in the infirmary.. But he could throw a dirk too. *fwiiiiiiiisssssshhhh!* The dirk flew like an angry wasp and smacked Mobble's paw so hard it would be numb for about 1/2 an hour (the pommel hit Mobble's paw).

Herion and Shilone

Herion looked at his master piece. The re-curve bow was lined with pure copper, the bow itself was made of the finest wood in Mossflower. The arrows were Fletched just to the peek of perfection.

"It has been a long timed since i have made a bow, my young apprentice." Herion pointed out

"It is a pleasure to have helped you on it master, now who is the recipient?" asked Shilone   

"A young raccoon by the name of Coraka, she is Redwall Abbey."

"Master!" he snared "You wouldn't make me deliver this to the enemy, would you?"

"While your working as my apprentice you have no enemies, now complete this last task for soon you will become a travels-men and be Independent. But till then you work for me, my young apprentice." Herion ordered

With that Shilone picked up his crossbow, the package and left the smithy, heading for Redwall Abbey.
