The abbess grew concerned. "Skipper Webbtail, please do what preparations are necessary. You know what to do. Try not to make it noticeable though, we dont want the dibbuns to get in a ruckess!"

Redd smiled with his eyes still closed. When he opened them, the owl was gone. Infuriated that he did not succefully kill it, he took his anger out on Darkfang. "Darkfang! Get this stoat in the water already so we can cross! Hurry up!" Redd begin hitting every vermin that got in the way.

" My crew can help ye anyway we can" Carl said to the Abbess, "'t'would be a shame to let this place be spoiled vermin"

Skipper

Darkfang turned his eyes away from Redd, they were burning with anger and only his cunningness stopped him from making a comment back to Redd. The fox dug his claws into the stoats back and slammed him into the water before turning around and walking away to take his position.

The skipper gave a quick bow to the abbess. "Of course, ma'am. I'll gather crew and we'll get a watch going on the walls. That's about all we can do for now. Captain Carl, matey, our crew can team up with yours if you like."

Larcius winged along slowly and painfully. He had a goal now, which didn't take his keen eyes long to pick up. It was an old building of some sort, built of a red sandstone. He had flown past it once or twice before. He didn't know exactly what it was or what type of beasts inhabited it, but it would have to do. In fact, it was his last hope. The arrow was buried deep in his wing, with the end sticking out. He would fall to the ground at any moment. He could already feel himself losing strength with every beat of his wings. He would need to make it as soon as he could possibly manage, but even that might be too late.
Received mostly negative reviews.

"I say, Abbbess marm!" said Diamond walking up. Her steps held a slight limp to them (a result of past battles) but she held her head high. "Could you please tell all these kitchen beast that I'm feeling rather faint and I shan't be able to do anything except eat and take naps for the rest of the day. All this blinking hard work has been hard on my stomach, wot!"

The haremaid rubbed her belly ruefully. She then thought twice and added. "Don't worry, it's not so bad that I can't manage some scoff. It's just those jolly old war wounds acting up."

Redd went to the front of his horde and stepped on the dead stoat. Using it as a bride over the shallow water, he made it across. It would take awhile to get every beast across safe, but it would be better to take the time then lose alot of beasts. Slowly, the horde made its way across.

Andro was listening to the abbess and skipper. When the skipper took off to the walls, Andro followed. "Webb! Mind if I help you guys out a bit?" Asked Andro. Andro had always been an annoying tag-along.

Balock followed the skipper to the walls. "I say, sah, is there any way that I could help ye? I'm a decent watchbeast and I c'n fight."

Darkfang swiftly followed Redd and in his bad mood pressed the head of the stoat into the mud with his footpaw before jumping off nimbly.

Just as the last foot of the last beast was safely on the other side, the piranha's hit. It was quick and deadly. One instant the stoat was trying to stand, the next instant, he was covered in silver. The blood curdling scream that erupted from his throat was cut off and he sank under the weight of flesh eating fish. The stoat gave on final lurch, and became still. The piranha's continued to swarm him. Redd turned around and gave orders to march at double time. Redd didn't want to get to Redwall to late...

OOC: The horde is on the march. They will be reaching Redwall soon.

Webbtail nodded to Balock and Andro. "Sure, join us if you like." He then stared in to the distance with an odd feeling of excitement at the coming invasion. His son, Balga, sat beside him. He'd be in on the fight as well.
Suddenly, Balga pointed up at the skies and cried, "What is that?!"

It was Larcius. He had almost reached his goal, and it was just in time. He wouldn't have made it otherwise. He swooped down lower towards the abbey. He was flying towards the grounds at a quick pace, but he had no control. His wings had gave way, and he wasn't going to land well.  With a sickening crunch, he thudded down to earth and blacked out.

The Skipper Webbtail was first to the scene. He yelled out to anybody within hearing range, "Somebody go get help! This poor bird is badly wounded!"
Received mostly negative reviews.

Taggalott ran to the infirmary. "sister, sister, there's a wounded bird outside."
The sister grabed some bandages and remedies and hurried out with Taggalott. "Where is it?" she said hurriedly.
"Come, I'll show you!" He started running towards the bird. The sister didn't lose a second, she began examining the bird. "Sister, look!" He pointed to an arrow protruding from his wing. "I'll take care of that. Could you lift his wing, please?" She said busily. "Of course sister, whatever you say."

The horde was now in eye shot of the abbey. Redd did not care anymore if he was seen. He wanted to strike fear into the hearts of the dwellers. He already knew what to expect. He had studied the feasts for several years. Redd pulled Darkfang to him. "There will be an otter sea captain with a large otter crew. To add to that, there will be squirrels and a skipper of otters. I need you to prepare the archery group so we can lay instant siege to them!"

Furke had been fishing in the pond for some watershrimp for the feast before the visitors had turned up. Going to the task again she tried to fish again but her mind was elsewhere. The feasts atmosohpere had gotten to  her and she swam around the pond. Unfortunatly she had scared the fishes away and upon noticing this she went to the kitchens to see if she could help there. She passed the bird on her way and walked on muttering,"What next on feast day I wonder?!"
Fun. is a fantastic band.
