[Moss the Warriormaid]

Snowdrop, a young squirrelmaid with unusual pure-white fur, grimly gazed over the lands that stood out before her.

Five assassins had stolen not only the sword of Martin the Warrior and the tapestry of him, but the life of their Abbot Colin.

She knew they would pay once she and her companions caught up with them.

But would they fail? Or could they bring them to justice?

Closing her eyes, she recalled the dream that Martin the Warrior had sent her when she was wounded and at the gates of the Dark Forest.

Journey to the mountain of fire
There the killers lie
But to enter, a journey you must take
One that very few survive
Go forth when the sun meets the ground
Prepare, equip,
venture forth without a sound
Beware of the ones that say they will help
Lead you through,
Make sure you succeed,
But then abandon you at the first yelp
Follow the one who seems to glare
But rest assured,
He'll take you there
And last but not least,
Do not forget,
That lives rest in your hands
Ones not yet met


Gripping her two daggers that lay in her paws, she took one step forward.

Oh, the journey is when she finds the assassins. And I added the sign-up thread!

BIC: The arrow quivered near the center of the target, "Try to beat that!" Leten called to her brother.

Occ: I was going to do that anyway!

I'll make up a Gousim shrew to accompany you!

*face palm* I am making everything rhyme today!

RP: Fredur, Leten's brother, smiled.

"Let's see if I can." He said, pulling out a bow and adjusting an arrow to his string.

Narrowing his eyes, he pinpointed the location where his weapon would strike.

Pulling back the string, he let go.

It sailed through the air, glinting in the morning sun.....

And landed right where Lenten's arrow had been.

Grinning, he shook his sister's hand. "Maybe I wasn't able to beat you, but at least this proves that we're kin."

"Aye, it does. D'you think there's any good food cooking?"

Fredur sniffed the air. "Aye, I smell some skilly'n'duff!" He chuckled. "Maybe if we were able to bunker down in ol' Redwall for a few days, we could be able to have meadowcream strawberry tarts and the moles' deeper'n'tater'n'beet pie!"

(Did I get that last one right?)

"Aye, but it's Logalog's decision, I would want some blackberry cordial an' those scones that they have that are embedded with blackberries and raspberries and drowning in honey..." Her voice trailed off.

Fredur backed away in mock agony. "Ney, don't torture me no longer, sister!" He wailed through laughter.

Leten laughed, "We haven't been to Redwall in awhile, let's ask Logalog."

Fredur nodded and smiled. "I doubt he'll refuse, though." He joked, walking away.

Occ: Now we need a Log a Log.....*sigh*

OOC: Rarou is in Mossflower woods... Just patroling around... Snowdrop is at Redwall right? Cause it would be good to give some more background than just a Recorders rambling.
