OOC: Don't forget Longear!

  OOC:  Exactly.  When I said that Ari knocked on doors, he was knocking on the ones of the characters that were going along.  I couldn't remember who all was in this RP, so I kept it general.

  BIC:  Ari looked around.  "Who else do you think that we should bring along?" he whispered to the others.
  Adam shrugged.  "Who was that fox that I met yesterday?  Should we bring him along?"
  "Longear?" Ari asked.  "Yes, we should ask if he wants to join us."  He walked quietly up to Longear's door and knocked softly on it.

However, Longear was a deep sleeper and wasn't woken up easily.

  Ari started banging louder on the door, until he felt that he would knock it down.  He tested the door to see if it was unlocked.
  Meanwhile, Adam was standing by Zella and Winstral.  "So," he began, still whispering, "do you two sing?  Do you play instruments?"

[Tiria Wildlough]

'I sing, a little bit,' said Zella. 'And I play the fiddle. I know quite a few songs off by heart.'

[Rainshadow]

  Adam nodded.  His head turned quite a bit as he heard the latch click on the door.  He saw Ari smile with satisfaction; he had picked the lock on the door.  Ari stepped in and looked around in the dim light for Longear.
 Adam turned back to the beasts in front of him.  "Well, I play the lyre, but unfortunately I didn't bring it with me.  It's still back at my barn in the woods.  I also sing, and I enjoy fiddling with other instruments."  He gestured at his beak and wings.  "As you can see, the lyre is one of the few instruments I can play.  I still try with others, though."

  OOC:  What species is Zella again?

OOC: She's an otter.

Longear rolled over. Though he was a deep sleeper, he thrashed in his sleep and always woke up a different position then he fell asleep in. He heard the door creak subconsciously. and woke up how he always did: slowly.

[Rainshadow]

  Ari saw Longear now, and crept closer to him.  Putting a paw to his shoulder, he whispered, "Longear, it is me, Ari.  Wake up."

Longear made a noise that was a cross between a snore and a groan, "S' too earl'." He muttered.

[Rainshadow]

  Ari glared at Longear and shook him.  "Wake up," he whispered a little louder.  "Do you want to go on the journey or not?  We are going to leave Redwall in pursuit of adventure."

[W0NWILL]

"Why can't you go on yer journey at a respectable time?" Longear asked in a mutter.

[Rainshadow]

  Ari chuckled slightly, saying, "Because I do not want to leave when everybeast is up.  We would get unwanted companions, I think.  Now would be a very good time to leave."
