Arrow flinched. He wasn't expecting Ashe to be so steathly.
"Who is he?" Arrow asked. "He looks like some beast I would want to have on my side instead of against me."

Ashe stepped forward, "No need to cringe in the presence of any of the Abbey beasts, here at Redwall, we accept all at their first go... I had to learn that myself, and it was a good friend of mine that had to teach it stubborn as I was... To answer your question, that is Martin the Warrior, founder of this very Abbey, and its first champion... His history is a very mysterias thing, and is sketchy at best, but his actions prove him to be of the best warriors in history." The black-furred squirrel had been gazing at the tapestry himself during the oration, but now turned to Arrow with a soft, welcoming look, "Truth be told, vermin encounters in this Abbey haven't often turned out for the better..... But I have confidence this time."

Staring at Martin had made Arrow want to just curl up and sleep at the base of the tapestry. "Martin," Arrow whispered, then turned to Ashe. "When I fisrt came in, I noticed a wildcat sitting in a wheelchair. What happened to her?"

  Firefly had grown tired of all of the brightness and heat of the day.  He had somehow found himself wandering inside the Abbey.  He stopped, hearing other creatures talking.  He recognized the voices.  It must be Ashe and the newcomer, he thought.
  Stepping inside the room, he stuck out a paw in greeting to the ferret.  "Th'names Fahrefly.  Nahce tae meet ye."

OOC: I'm going to asssume that they shook hands, and that Arrow introduced himself, if not, just tell me and I'll erase this post BIC:

After the interchange, Ashe vied to answer Arrow's question, "You must be talking about Wisteria. She and her father attacked this Abbey back a few seasons ago, that's how I ended up in the Abbey in the first place. Anyway, a good friend of mine left un-announced, and without escort, I ended up chasing after to find Wisteria and her second right on top of my friend... I've never been able to figure out how, but during the ensueing scuffle, Wisteria's back was broken... Her father needed the Abbeybeasts medical expertise just to keep his daughter alive... and they've been living here ever since."

OOC: Yes, Arrow did that

"Why would anyone attack this place? It's too beautiful to be attacked," Arrow stated. "I would love to know more of the history of Redwall."

Ashe laughed, " Well then you'll have to cosult books, I don't know the half of the expansive history of this place, but there are some beasts around that know next to all of it, some who have even been a part of it. If you don't know how to read there are plenty creatures here willing to teach you."

Arrow smiled. "I might just do that. Thank you Ashe. It's also a pleasure to meet you Firefly." With that, Arrow walked off to talk with someone who knew the history.

  OOC:  I might want to add something that I forgot to in the character description:  Ember is a very intelligent owl and a bit of a scholar.  She's a poet as well.

  BIC:  Ember also wanted to greet the new guests.  She didn't know where they were, so she flew around for a little while, trying to find them.
  She decided to go inside, wondering if they were in there.  Opening the door with her talons, she ran into Firefly.
  "Oh, heelo theere, Ember!"
  "Hello, Fire.  Did you see where our guests went?"
  "Och, ye're in luck!  Arrow, the ferret, es just insahde heere."
  Ember thanked him and hopped into the Abbey.

OOC: Sorry, sorry! I will be very busy do to the fact that I'm MOVING. Anyway, I give Dan permission to RP my characters if need be. I would reply, but I have NO muse.

  OOC:  Yes!

  BIC:  Ember hopped inside, smiling - or as close as an owl can get to smiling - at Firefly.  She spread out her wings, flying low around the Abbey.  She landed as she saw Martin's tapestry, and nodded at it.  "Hello, Martin," she whispered
  Seeing beasts in the room, she hopped over to them.  It turned out to be Ashe and somebeast walking away.  "Hello, Ashe," Ember said.  "How are you?"

"Fairly well I must say, the ferret that has come under our roof sure seems different from vermin." Ashe let a smile pick at the corners of his mouth, "How goes all the showboating outside?" He did his best to conceal the grin that was threatening to ruin the mischief of the moment.

  "What?"  Ember was confused for a moment.  Then she realized.  "Oh, hoohoo, it goes well."  She chuckled, which sounded much like a hoot.  "Hoohoo, I think I was winning.  Though, how well does an otter beat an owl at flying?"
