so far, i have to make a very strange choice as to my favourite character, one that i doubt anyone else has mentioned.

in marlfox, there are a couple of chapters where the quartet of infants are helped along by a behemoth of a hedgehog named sollertree. in his homelands he was being trained as a warrior, but couldn't hurt a fly and so went off by himself. i also recall he loved almonds.

as a 6'7" pacifist myself (who also has a fondness for almonds), i can't 'alf relate.
it was the strangest thing today
i studied footprints in abandoned pathways
'neath forgotten undergrowth something stirring again
you were a single red blood cell and I lost you in this knot of capillaries
but you were bringing me oxygen when I needed it most in the smoke

Vilu Daskar

Quote from: Kilkenne on June 11, 2011, 04:28:09 AM
Vilu Daskar was pretty awesome. And because he's a classy corsair, and I'm a classy guy, he is my favorite character.
Thank you
Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

I can't even narrow it down to ten, let alone one, I can't even narrow it down to 22 (one per book) I'll put my top 3 for every book instead

Lord Brocktree: Ungatt, Brock and Fleetscutt
Martin the Warrior: This one's pretty easy for me, Badrang, Skalrag and the Warden *Gets torn to pieces by angry fans for not putting Martin on the list*
Mossflower: Now this is probably the hardest Verdauga, Mask and Gonff
Legend of Luke: Vilu Daskar, Ranguvar and Beauclair Fethringsol Cosfortingham
Outcast of Redwall: Aye-ee, I take it back about Mossflower, this book's just so full of great characters, Sabretache, Swarrt and Skarlath
Mariel of Redwall: Dandin, Graypatch and Pakatugg
The Bellmaker: Finbarr, Urgan Nagru and Blaggut
Salamandastron: Ferahgo, Oxeye and Samkim
Redwall: Oh look another hard one now lesse shall we Cluny, Methuselah and Asmodeus
Mattimeo: Cheek, Slagar and the painted ones, in this book they were very mysterious and truly malevolent and in the tv show they look like lemurs, what's not to love?
Pearls of Lutra: WHY MUST YOU DO THIS TO ME BRIAN JACQUES!? ahem sorry, Ublaz, Barranca and Inbar
The Long Patrol: Russa, Rubbadubb and Midge
Marlfox: Again, seriously? Janglur, Gawjo and Mokkan
The Taggerung: This is hard for a different reason out of the few characters I liked in this they are all so close together in their greatness that being said, Nimbalo, Ruggan Bor and Fwirl are my final choices
Triss: Mokug, Shogg and Triss
Loamhedge: Brag, Saro and Lonna
Rakkety Tam: Yoofus, Shard and Tam
High Rhulain: Leatho, Pandion and Riggu
Eulalia: Rangval wins hands down but it's hard to choose out of the others for the same reason as Taggerung, I'd say Vizka and Gorath
Doomwyte: Zaran, Dwink and Bisky
The Sable Quean: Axtel, Zwilt and Buckler
The Rogue Crew: Rake, Swiffo and Ketral Vane

Oops, my villain is showing a little too much there, this is all from memory so forgive me if I missed any awesome characters
