Yes, but knowing Christ doesn't mean just knowing that there is someone named Christ. You need to believe in him and live a good life as best you can.

I do. Or at least, I'm trying. I'm reading the Bible more and praying, and he's even answered some of my prayers, which is awesome

It's great that you want to live a life worthy of Christ, as so do I. But this topic is starting to get too religous, and not everyone's Christian. Maybe you should PM? Just making a suggestion, not trying to be rude or bossy.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

We can talk about God. If some members disagree, then they can let us know in a nice way. Redwaller and I aren't trying to push our beliefs  on anyone here. It's just the same as talking about liking a certain food, favorite  show, etc.

...I question this topic. How on earth could the world end? Would we just blot out of existence or something? Or would all humanity somehow go extinct, in which case the world would not end, just one of the numerous species?
And it's already 12/22/12 in another part of the world, isn't it?
Just think about it.

(And I appologize for the horrible pun in my first question. >.<)

Also, I'm someone who goes by the Bible and logic. I believe that the current conditions make it impossible for the world to end, and also that God will not reveal to us the time of his return.
In process of rekindling my love for Redwall.

Well the Bible talks about the world ending, so why would logic go against that? True Christain go to be with the Lord, sinners go to hell. The world and every thing around it will burn up, than God will make a new world where he will rule for a 1000 years, after which we will spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Right. Also not to judge them but my cousins are Jehovah Witness. Thats not a completely bad thing because they believe in God, but they think that Jesus and God are separate and not the same, which I disagree with. They also think that heaven will be on earth but it won't.

I believe in God and the end of the world and all. But I'm treating the Maya thing as a joke.

Just remember: If the Mayans could predict the future, there would still be Mayans.

Anyway, it's kind of quiet for an Apocalypse today. What do you think?

(please do not send me the pm game messages)

Redwallfan7

True. Only God's predictions can come true. If that weren't the case I think he would have said different.

Exactly! But maybe not burn up, but the world will be completly different. Mountains will fall, and everything that was madde by man will be destroyed.

I mean, they say that the end is today. So I died because of it.  :P
