Do you think she liked Barranca?

Yes
No
She didn't even know who he was

For one thing: she was a female, ;D

That's sexist

two: she helped Abbot Durral,

She helped him sort of reluctantly (and who said Barranca wouldn't have also helped him?)

Quote from: Mask on April 26, 2013, 02:48:05 PMthree: She died like a hero

So did Barranca, at least IMO. He was fighting for FREEDOM. Would you say those who died in the United States Revolution didn't die like a hero if they were stabbed in the back?

four: She was good at heart

In the end, and there's never anything to PROVE that Barranca wasn't also at least sort of good at heart

five: she was more interesting to read about

How so? I mean, she was REALLY interesting to read about, but so was Barranca (but that's just my opinion)

Well, Barranca is one of the bad guys...

Well, UBLAZ considered him a bad guy... (makes me wonder what side you're on...)

Rusvul

I see no reason why Romsca would like Barranca. It wasn't mentioned in the books, and since I think both of them died, there couldn't really be any way for it to happen.

Romsca

Well yeah okay but they could have still liked each other

I didn't mean it to be. I was half kidding. I mean, being a female, I just think it is really cool that there was such an awesome female corsair captain. And each gender has somethings that it does better than the other. So, in some ways that can be a way that she is better and a way that she is worse.

I think Romsca was a really cool character. Pearls of Lutra wouldn't be the same book without her. I love the way her character changed and grew, and didn't remain static and stagnant. One of the coolest things about the book is Romsca's friendship with Abbot Dural (sp?). They really grew to respect and care for each other. It actually made me cry when Romsca died.

It seems possible that Romsca and Barranca could've known each other.

Kitsune

Yes, Dural is the correct spelling.
We should probably get back on the Romsa topic now.

Romsca

Actually Durral has two r's

Maudie

Huh? why'd you double post and qoute your first post?

It was an accident. I tried to report it, but I couldn't, because it was my own post :P Would you mind reporting it?

I wonder if she would have come to redwall abbey if she had lived. BTW I reported it for you.

Couldn't Romsca just edit it himself? Thats what I do when I have stuff like that happen to me.

Life is too short to rush through it.

Ahem, I do believe Romsca is a  female.

And it looks like her post got fixed.

I can do that because I'm awesome.
