Forest Frenzies! RP

[Rainshadow]

  "I, erm, uh, I'm Tharn," Tharn stuttered.  "What're you doing, er, um, around these parts, um, Marvin?"

[Romsca]

Cole readied his axe and waited for the right moment. When the duck's attention was focused on the rabbit, the fox leaped out and swung his axe toward the duck's neck, hoping to cut it clean off.

At that moment, Marvin dipped his head in respect, "I live around here." The axe whistled over his head and Marvin blinked, "What was that?" He turned and saw Cole, "Hello. Did you loose grip of your axe?"

[Romsca]

Cole stared in disbelief at the duck. How could he have missed? He swung again, this time making sure not to miss.

Marvin jumped back, awkwardly and stumbling, as ducks are not made for backward movement, "What are you doing?"

[Rainshadow]

  Tharn immediately, without any thought, pulled out his sling, set a smooth stone to it and twirled the sling, shooting the ammunition at the attacker.  "Die, elil!"

[Romsca]

Cole lifted his axe just in time to block the slingstone. That was close! He ignored the duck and went after the rabbit.

[Rainshadow]

  Tharn screamed and started running.  Why had he thrown a stone at that stupid fox?
  Looking around, Tharn hoped that the fox had stopped chasing him.

[Romsca]

Cole turned around. Stupid rabbit! he thought, He's not worth going after! He faced the duck and laughed evilly. "'Tis your day to die!" he said, as he swung his axe again, this time at the duck's webbed feet so it couldn't walk anywhere.

Sothen acted on an impulse and shot an arrow at the fox. At this range, it would do some serious damage.

[Romsca]

Cole screamed and dropped his axe as an arrow pierced his right shoulder. He fell to the ground, trying to stem the flow of blood. After a few seconds, he passed out.

Slatter watched from behind a tree as Cole was shot. Her eyes widened and she turned to run, but tripped over a tree root. She sighed in frustration as she got up. So, it was going to be one of those days...

Emerald heard the commotion from where she sat by a side stream.She was getting ready to eat, but she forgot about any hunger at the noises. Sliding her sword slightly out of its scabbard, Emerald ducked into the underbrush. She had to know what was happening.

Sothen turned around when he heard somebeast fall on the soft earth. he hurried in the direction, hoping it was Tharn or someone who knew where he went.

Buckler III

Buckler III woke up when, above his underground home, he heard a lot of noise. "Wot's that--ooofff!" He banged his head on the low ceiling as he jumped up to see what was going on. "Oh, I say, chaps!" he muttered as he opened the door of his house. His voice was escalating into a high-pitched scream. "Wot's all this bally flippin' bloody noise out here??!!??!!!" He noticed the unconscious, injured fox, lying on the ground. "Oh, it's a VERMIN! Wot's a VERMIN doing here? I say, this is enough to ruin a good chap's lovely day, wot!"
