A light-hearted roleplay about Corvale, a small community devoted to reforming Warlords, Hordebeasts, Corsairs, and just about any scummy cutthroat you can imagine.

Located on flatlands, within walking distance from Mossflower, Corvale is build from gray stone. The grounds are surrounded by a high wall, with four gates, the main one facing Mossflower. A tower at the east corner provides barracks for the troops, and cell space for the more dangerous inmates. Small one room houses are built within the grounds for the friendlier vermin, housing two in each.  The main building has living quarters for the staff, cellars, kitchens, and dining halls. The infirmary is the second largest building.

Gardens are within the grounds, with more focus on vegetables then fruit trees. Bee hives are also found, with lovely flowers planted around them. There is no pond, but fisherbeasts can travel easily to a small creek that serves their needs well.

  We're always accepting members.

Name: Briar
Species: Hedgehog
Age: 45
Physical Appearance: A burly hedgehog matron, who wears a clean simple-cut pink dress, and a white apron.  She has a pink nose, light apricot colored spines, and ruby colored eyes. She often looks stern, almost brutish, but when she softens, she is quite pleasant to look at.
Personality: Brair is a kind soul, who truly believes that there is good in everyone, even if you need to beat it out of them. She is commanding, pushy, and a bit of a tyrant. She expects perfect order in her establishment, and goes over the place with a white glove.
Seeing others in a helpless state brings out the best in her. She turns kind, compassionate, understanding, even gentle. Though her bossiness remains.
Weapons: She carries a small club around with her, that doubles as a stirring stick.

May I have permission to join?

I'd like to get back into roleplaying. I haven't in quite some time.

I can be whatever role you want me to.

Thomas Barkshield

Could I have William as captain of the guard and Rasgul as an inmate? These are there sheets:

Name: William
Species: Mouse
Age: 29
Appearance: grey furred
Personalty: Friendly, but strict.
Weapons: Sword and bow

Name: Rasgul
Species: Rat
Age: 32
Appearance: Jet black fur
Personalty: Passive enough, but you'd better watch out when he gets mad at you. Lives in a cottage and hates William
Weapons: None

Norham Waterpaw

This, sounds, hilarious. I'll join, lemme think 'bout my characters.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

You are most welcome! You can have more then one character, but would you like play one of the staff?

Is this like a contest-type RP?

No, not really. It's meant to be a light-hearted fun thing. Not overly goofy, but not meant to be overly serious either.

Accepted! I know this wasn't on the form, but what sort of trade is Rasgul learning?

I suppose I can have a staff member and an inmate.

Which staff position would you like me to take. I would rather not do infirmary. But everything else would be okay.

Edit: also, may I provide information other than what's required by the sheet or is that all you want?

Ungatt Trunn

I guess I'm in! Just let me think up a good character...

Thomas Barkshield

He is learning blacksmithing. (The guards know he hopes to convince the blacksmith to let him make weapons)

Would you enjoy bee keeper? If not, feel free to pick another one. (Some staff are just general helpers if you'd like to do that.)

Yes. As long as you give the information requested, you can add as much as you want.

Alright! Got it. Hopefully, we'll get a blacksmith character soon. If not, I'll make one myself.

Ungatt Trunn

Here, I've got my character:

Name: Grodlle
Species: Otter
Physical appearence: A rather tall otter, with dark brown fur; walks with a small limp on his left leg.
Personality: Firm, but fair. If a scirmish breaks out between any beasts, he'll take into view both sides of the story. Hates it when his orders are disobeyed.
Position: Taskmaster
Weapons: a light rapier

Life is too short to rush through it.

Krowdon

I'll have to look up a few things, but beekeeper sounds fun.

I'll start working on characters. May we do woodlanders and vermin, or only vermin or woodlanders?

(( Sorry I ask so many questions. I'm nervous. ^__^; ))

Ungatt Trunn

Just to say, this is my first time being in an RP game, so don't expect me to be REALLY good...

Life is too short to rush through it.

WoodenSpoon

Okay, Ungatt! That looks good. I like him. One question, what do you mean by taskmaster?

Don't worry about being new to RPing. This is going to be a fairly mellow group.

That's okay Krowdon. :)  I am not sure if I understand the question, but I think you're asking if this roleplay features vermin, woodlanders or both. Staff are typically woodlanders, though I would consider accepting an older vermin as a staff member, if a convincing explanation was given. Inmates are usually vermin, though insane woodlanders could apply.

Krowdon

Thank you, that answers my question. I'll put profiles up sometime tonight or tomorrow.

Considering using Krowdon as my inmate actually. Haha. Probably not.

Just a heads up, if I randomly disappear, I've been grounded. Just continue without me.

Edit: if I am late replying or anything don't hesitate to send me a PM to remind me. I get forgetful and busy. I will make time for you.
