DOCTOR: How is that news to anyone?

"I am Yomin Carr, the harbinger of doom. I am the beginning of the end of your people!" -Yomin Carr

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

So there would be the Aristocratic Counsel and the Common Counsel and the main counsel would be made up of the two combined.

That sounds delicious.

Faiyloe

 ;D

I was thinking we could start the RP with the the former leaders having some how died/ gone missing/ or been removed. Then we could start by finding new leaders.

Maybe the Aristocratic Council thinks of them selves as more important then the Common  Council even though they are supposed to equals.

Also what about currency what is the form of coinage and what is it made of like gold, silver, bronze, salt, shells, gigantic stone wheels, or even bartering.

I want to be the person who deals with trade and the peace full relations with other countries. (Not quite sure what that would be called :P) Someone else would work with violent relations between other countries like wars and stuff.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Rusvul

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YES! The currency should be giant stone wheels! Or maybe different types of cheese? Or maybe just plain old coins.
Coin ideas:

Concepiece: Equivalent to a penny, made of copper/tin, each depicting the head of one of the Councilors. Not very valuable because they only last as long as the councilor, if Counselor Pridefall died, all the coins with Pridefall's face would become invalid currency.

Argae: Silver coin, depicts the head councilors. Does not become obsolete as quickly as concepieces, the councillor must be dead for fifty years/seasons (Depending on species of players) before the coin becomes worthless. Worth 100 Concepieces.

Aurae: Gold coin, depicts the nation's symbol, whatever that may be, never becomes worthless, so long as it is legible. Worth some strange number (42? 51? 84? maybe just 100?) Argae.

Faiyloe

It is a little impractical to have the coins expire  cuz then you will end up with a lot of useless coins unless they are all collected up and reminted. The worth of a coin used to be the worth of the materiel it was made up of so if the coins is made of one cents worth of tin it is still worth one cent even if the counselor who's picture's on it dead.

How about the amount of coins made with you head on them is determined by your achievements.

And how about the Argae have the pictures of the Aristocratic leader and the Common leader on it.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

The Shade

How often will the Aristocratic and Common leaders be replaced?
They told me I was gullible. I believed them.

It is well known that 47% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I used to leave out half my sentances, but now I

Faiyloe

I was thinking when they die or get to old to do there job properly or if they stop doing there job properly and get kicked out.

My point was that the coins would become pointless after a while, I know it's inconvenient, I thought it would be interesting. Perhaps there is some kind of office that collects old coins and trades them for new ones? And I probably didn't state this very clearly, I intended the Argae to have the head counselor's faces on them. The reason for my names:

Concepiece-Conce-Councilor

Argae-Argentum-Silver

Aurae-Aurum-Gold

Faiyloe

Oh I get it.  ;D We will need a treasurer some one who collects and mints coins and deals with taxes.

Sure.

Ok so I know that the pole is tide but I realized that I wanted this to be more or less our selves playing a role in the government that we created. Now when we make a character sheet for the RP that could pose some problems if we were human. I know a lot of people probably don't wan't to describe what they look like. using Redwall animals could avoid that.

Ok you guys can also make a character sheet now.

Name: (You can use you user name or make something up)
Species: (Whatever you normally go as on the forums. Or whatever animal you think you are most like)
Appearance: (This one is a little more free but keep it accurate if you would never ware lots of jewelry then don't include it.)
Weapons: (again keep it accurate if you are small and thin then don't go around hefting a giant heavy ax.)
Role: (The role you want to play in the government)
Other:

Now remember don't think of this as creating a character think of it as describing your self.

Me

Name: Faiyloe
Species: Squirrel
Appearance: Light reddish brown fur, tall, thin (will edit later)
Weapons: (will edit later)
Role: (Peaceful) Foreign Relations Aristocratic Councilor.
Other: (will edit later)

#57
Name: Rusvul
Species: Fox
Appearance: Reddish brown fur, not brawny but very strong. Same scars on face and left ear.
Weapons: Long, somewhat ornate but servicable sabre worn on the left side of his belt. Though it's not a weapon, on the right side he wears a blacksmithing hammer.
Role: Blacksmith guild representative
Other: Um. I'm not sure what to put here. Personality? Since Rusvul is going to act like me for the purposes of this roleplay, his personality is exactly like mine. Generally peaceful, and hates to directly inflict harm on others. However, loves sparring with dulled swords and is always ready for combat. Very diplomatic, good at saying negative things without them seeming so.

Sorry but the positions for leaders can not be self appointed. The Leaders will be voted in to office. If you would like to include why you would make a good Common leader then go ahead.

Okay. Makes sense. I will probably think of some :)
