Russina glanced over at Anpan, and saw that Reina had reached her. "Reina, Anpan, when and if I say "Run" then run without worrying about me." She announced, then addressed the eagle, "Radron. What are you doing here?"

OOC: The vermin are just standing around. That doesn't seem right, but I don't know what to do about it without getting "us" killed. :P

Anpan fought to stay on her paws until Reina reached her. Then she smiled feebly and fainted.

OOC: Yup, I'm complicating everything. Deal.

Vermin classically stand around looking stupid after their leader gets pwned.

Reina, looking around apprehensively at the vermin, knelt and shook Anpan. "C'mon, wake up! You can't faint now, we've got to figure out how to get out of this!" She wished she had a canteen of water or something to dump over Anpan; however, she'd dropped her satchel during the mad rush into the camp. There was nothing else to do, so she kept shaking the ottermaid. "C'mon, Anpan! Wake up!"

"Craaagh! You again, the squirrely maid! How nice." Radron said, smiling. It wasn't a pretty sight. Russina shuddered, then said, "Here, how about this? You get to kill, and whatever else you may want to do, these vermin, while we go free, and I give you the contents of my haversack." Russina hoped he would take the bait, since he rtather liked the taste of flesh, along with other, more normal, food. The eagle thought for a moment, then took the deal. Then he pounced on Rusdsdina and tore her pack of her pack, and then started killing the rest of the vermin at an alarming rate. Russina ran over to the other two the second the eagle had her pack off, and muttered, "Hurry! He won't honor his side of the deal. You get Anpan's feet, I'll take her head. There's no time to lose!"

BlueRose

Anpan stayed comatose, unaware of the danger surrounding her and her friends.

Russina looked back at Radron; He seemed to be having a fgine time eating the rats. She shuddered, repulsed.

Reina grabbed Anpan's footpaws. She briefly glanced over at Radron, then quickly turned away. "C'mon. Let's get out of here."

For a nearly full grown otter, Anpan is surprisingly light. However, being comatose makes creatures heavier for some reason.

Reina and Russina quickly carried their unconscious friend through the mob of fleeing vermin. Reina was in the lead. Behind them Radron carried on with his grisly meal. The ferretmaid felt as if she was dreaming, for after all, she was tired and wounded, and it was the dead of night, with only the dying flames to illuminate the scene of a crowd of vermin and a huge eagle.

She stumbled, but caught herself just in time. Briefly she wondered if she might black out too. But she forced herself to keep going, holding tightly to Anpan's footpaws.

OOC: Ahem. Little bit of PP there. But I don't mind; It's true. Plus, I can always make that fit with this post. ;)

BIC: Russina set the pace quickly, and saw Anpan's pack laying close to where she was walking. She snagged the straps with her foot and tossed it upwards, carrying in her teeth. She saw Reina stumble, and did everything she could to help carry as much of the comatose, heavy otter.

BlueRose

Anpan did her best to continue being a comatose, heavy otter. There wasn't much else she could do, actually.

Russina's head started to droop from the weight of the pack, and she quickly hikied it back up.

Jukka the Sling

OOC; Yeah, I knew it was PPing, but I wanted to make something happen. ::)

BIC:
Gradually Reina and her friends made it out of the vermin camp and into the darkness beyond. They kept going for several minutes, until Reina tripped over a tree root and collapsed with Anpan on top of her.

It took a moment, but then her eyes adjusted a bit to the darkness, and she could just make out Russina. "Okay, now what?" she inquired wearily, pushing Anpan off her and sitting up.

Anpan stopped being a heavy otter, since she was now on the ground, but continued being a comatose otter.
