Ushen has shell-shocked, as he came to ground, he instantly leapt up, flabbergasted, "Your staying at Brockhall!" He said in disbelief, "How'd you find it? Have you touched anything? Please tell me you haven't touched any of my paints!"

Cornflower MM

"Yes, we're staying at Brockhall. Don't worry, we took all those kars of paints and locked them in a closet so the Dibbuns wouldn't get to them. And, as it';s rather hard to live anywhere for a season without touching anything, yes, we did touch a LOT of stuff. How'd we find it? By chance. You see, we had to evacuate the Abbey of Redwall really fast, and we were out in the woods, and Abbess Russina found a door in an oak tree, and we went in. And we've been living there ever since the middle of last winter. Remind me to tell you the long version later, OK?" Arya sdaid, picking up a few of his bags and handing them to him.

"No, no, no, no! This can't be happening." Ushen groaned, shouldering his bags. "Has anyone find the trap door into the Cellar. If so I'm worse at hiding things than I thought." Ushen whined.

Faiyloe

"Cellar... I don't think so. The place was so big and it seem deserted. We only too up a small portion of the place the rest was off limits to keep the dibbuns from getting lost." Vatra said. she gave a gasp of pain the wound in her shoulder was worse than she thought.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ushen sighed in relief, "Oh thank goodness. I mean really, I got away for five seasons, and all this happens, oh, are you alright?" Ushen said, forgetting his troubles, and now worrying about the squirrelmaid.

Faiyloe

"I'm fine... I've had worse, just have to get it treated to," She said though it still hurt.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

"Um, we better get going then." Ushen said, suddenly feeling his old awkwardness creeping up on him again.

Faiyloe

They came to the great tree and Varta opened the door and started down the stairs in silence.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ushen followed, struggling to get in without banging his bags against the walls.

Vatra entered the infirmary and saw Ervoyce on the bed . "Ervoyce! Are you ok? What happened?" She yelled running over to the bed completely forgetting about her wounds.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Arya straggling behind, listened to the otter two talking. She'd gasped she accidentally knocked her shouklder against the wall when closing the door, but no one noticed. She peeked in the Infirmary door and sighed......It was best to give Vatra and Ervoyce some time to talk. She saw Bryant in there also, but he was slipping out the other door. Why this room had two doors she had no idea. She decided to sit down next to the door. She asked Ushen, "Would you like me to tell you the long version now? We shouldn't disturb them....They'll be engaged any day now." She joked.

Ervoyce turned his head and grinned slightly, "Welcome back Vatra, fire doesn't exactly play nicely with fur... Neither do vermin." He couldn't help but look at his friend in a new light, seemingly more permanent. Strange indeed, nothing changed when he saw Bryant. The epiphany hit like a sling stone from a badger, Vatra was part of this "home" thing that he had recently discovered, Bryant was not because the albino would not be staying, or at least that was not the plan at this point in time. The black squirrel tried not to stare at his equally dark companion as the change was happening, a strange feeling indeed."

Arya sighed as she started musing while waiting for Ushen's reply......Huh......I suppose they will get married one of these seasons. Then I really WILL be the odd one out. No Zanga, Bryant isn't planning to stay, and I don't really talk to anyone else. Guess I'll just take care of Russina until she dies or I do. Whichever comes first. And then there's the issue of Brockhall: Will the squirrel kick us out, or let us stay? And while I'm thinking about this squirrel, I suppose he's got his eyes set on some other squirrelmaid. He's quite nice-looking to me. Oh, why on earth do I always fall for the worst possible squirrels? First there was Bryant, but he's....Just not the type of squirrel who'll ever settle down He prefers being a loner. And then Ervoyce, who's obviously falling for Vatra, although they both don't know it, which is absolutely ridiculous, since she likes him too, and doesn't know it. And now this guy! I guess my destiny's just to be alone, even though I long for a little romance in my life....... While Arya was thinking about this whole thing, she'd started crying without realizing it.

Faiyloe

"You got that right... I guess it didn't go exactly to plan... I'm sorry, I went off on my own and got everyone into trouble," She said looking into the other squirrels strange silver eyes something was different this time but she couldn't quit put her finger on it. He was more, Content, that was it, or as close as she could get.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ervoyce responded, "It was not your fault, Arya went after Zanga, which nobeast can hold against her. He was our friend, and I can't imagine how much it hurt for her, she's not like us Vatra... She's not as accustomed to death as we are." He turned his head away slightly as a pause interrupted his statement. Looking back to his friend he continued a little more drearily, "How is Arya? She certainly didn't seem in the best of conditions when I last saw her out there."
