"She is ok, I think we had a run in with a weasel, Arya got hit in the shoulder with an arrow. I didn't fare to well either, She said wincing and remembering the gash in her shoulder. "I had to leave Zanga in the woods, don't worry he is well hidden but we will have to go back and give him a proper burial," She said solemnly. The infirmary keeper came back in and at the sight of Vatra's shoulder She started fussing over here and bandaging her up. "Ow! Careful! Stop touching it, Stop touching it it hurts" She said normally she would have just gritted her teeth and let the herbalist do her stuff but to day was different. She felt, for the first time in a long time she felt everything nothing was blocked out and she let it go. Her shoulder throbbed and she slumped over a sob escaping her soul. She rubbed hr free paw across her face reached out for Ervoyces paw and said quietly "He's gone and there is nothing I can do about it," Tears started to run down her face real tears not of anger but of pure grief.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ushen wasn't quite sure what to do, but then Arya started crying. Now although Ushen wasn't all that good with emotions, and maids, but he did know not to leave some poor girl who had obviously had a bad night crying. He sat down next to her, and without thinking put an arm round her, and began saying what he guessed were comforting things.

Arya wasn't r4eally thinking either, and just curled up towards Ushen and cried. It was nice to have someone who seemed to understand, a little bit at least.

Jath crawled from her perch from a tall oak tree watching the woodlands for any movements. Her paw never strayed far from her bow that was by her side. She heard a rustle in the bushes, just an owl. She sighed.
She tried to track the two other squirrels that the vermin who she nearly killed tried to kill, but to no success. So she decided to just watch the woodlands like she alway's had, for beasts who were in trouble and for vermin.
Jath stopped by a large oak tree the bright moon shining on her fur. She saw a little door in the tree and large letters. Jath looked at the words wishing that she new how to read.
Not daring to enter she decided to sleep in the branches of the tree. Climbing up she slept on a thick branch, keeping one eye open for any danger.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Ushen held Arya close, and just let her cry. He knew that when something terrible happened, that the best thing was just to let it all out. He remembered how much he had cried when his grandfather died. He had sat in a room quite close to here, and had stayed there for hours. Oh, how this place brought back memorise, maybe that was why he spent so much time away.

Raphael was relieved that he had lost all his enemies, and just sprinted for Redwall Abbey. When he got there, the place was in chaos. He better find Jantar, she would be wanting his help.

Arya finished her cry, and then realized she was curled up, her face in Ushen's side. She looked up and blushed deeply, then looked down again, but did not move for the moment.

Ushen saw how embarrassed she was, and suddenly realized how he must look. "It's alright," He said, wiping away a stray tear, "Don't feel like you've got to hold it in, or bare it along."

"T-t-thank you......Zanga was my closest friend, ever since those two got close...." Arya said, knowing it wouldn't make sense, and then started crying again. And then fell into a flashback. She stiffened, and in her mind replayed the awful day she was orphaned. This lasted about five minutes, then she started shaking and screaming.

Ushen felt a little panicked, but guessed that Arya was following his advice, and letting it all out. She was rocking backwards, and forwards, but Ushen still kept his arm around her shoulders. At this moment, she just needed a friend, and it seemed that was something she hadn't really had for a while. Or her friend was this Zanga she was going on about, and Ushen was certain that Zanga must have been killed or something like that.

"Make it stop, make it stop, MAKE IT STOP!!!" She started moaning, still caught in the memory. The one part of her mind that wasn't dragged into the memory was fighting against it, but the fight was going badly. "No, not again. I can't deal with this...." She whimpered.

Ushen's tender heart went out to Arya, and he began to whisper kindly to her, "It's ok. Your alright, your safe, I know it's hard. Just fight through it."

Arya kept whimpering, now remembering the graves she dug: "No, no, no....I can't deal with this right now...No more flashbacks! No more! Please, no more....." She stop[ped whimpering, partly because the last clinging piece of her mind that was telling her that this was just a memory lost the battle, and partly because she fainted.

Vatra Snapped back when she heard Aryas cries and ran out into the hall just in time to see her slump over in an unconscious heap. "No! Not again, don't do this," Vatra picked Arya up and brought her into the infirmary laying her down on the bed next to Ervoyce. Then with out saying anything she left the room.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ushen felt rather annoyed that the other squirrelmaid just took Arya away without even saying anything. Ushen didn't do anything though, he just got up, and headed off to his room, which he hoped wasn't being inhabited.

Vatra entered Zanga's room and looked around at the empty bed and a lump grew in her throat. The room was dark the only light coming from the hall Vatra's shadow stretched across the dark packed earthen walls and floor and thick strong roots grew from the ceiling and came down to make the bed. She went over to the bed and felt the unmade sheets and her paw ran across the frame and down to the chest at the foot of the bed. Then she noticed lying next to it a javelin. She picked it up and felt its weight. It was her old Javelin Death Stinger She had given it to Zanga when he needed it. She had told him to keep it.

"I will wiled you again in memory and honor of our friend Zanga," She said
