Vatra ran along half limping half being carried out into the grounds, vermin chasing after them, the gibberish shouts and cries of the torrent and the falcon, throwing things at the vermin.  However she hardly noticed any of this. It all seemed as if along way off and the noise was dim and muffled. The pain in her shoulder and back where becoming overwhelming. The thought of Ervoyce and returning was the only thing keeping her going. She stumbled and leaned more heavily on Stormfront. She was losing it. She couldn't go much farther like this. She gritted her teeth and tried to keep herself from screaming or collapsing. Her mind wondered from the goal. She slipped and things began to fade. She took a few more running steps and then faltered. Her head was spinning.

'There was Jantar and Raphiel in cavern hole, Grund was dead, there was a knew leader, Vermin where chasing them, there was Bryant, The whistle, Ushen, Then the Torrent, and Jantar laughing and staring down at her, Bryant, the falcon, monster, the order to shoot, Jantar laughing, and Zanga, why was Zanga here, Arya crying, vermin, monster, Jantar laughing, Torrent, Running, vermin, Ervoyce, where was Ervoice?' with that last thought ringing in her mind she slipped into oblivion a single tear making its way down the side of her face.

OOC: Your good. Decided to put my character out for the count. mainly so you guys are free to post when I am not around and because I don't have much to contribute in her condition anyway. Feel free to PP me Dan till I wake up.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Stormfront noticed Vatra's loss of strength at caught her up before she even started falling, "Tallen! Get to the trees and get ready to catch a squirrel!" The third squirrel nodded and shot off to the tree line. Storm signaled the second and switched with him, carrying the shield while the other stronger one carried Ervoyce's friend.

The falcon cried out loudly, a signal to the assault team. All the squirrels and otters assembled in a firing line and shot two volleys of missiles just over the top of the wall. This maneuver served two purposes, to get the beasts on the wall top to drop down, and  to catch any vermin too fast for their own good. The shields dropped as the Frozen Torrent departed in a flurry. The sudden silence was deafening, only broken by the clatter of a shield as it smacked the stairs to another wall.

OOC: I know this seems a little fast, any objections? I can slow it down, but that's primarily going to mean another attack from the Torrent. (You're going to want to say something about the blazing gates, because if you don't do something, they're going to turn to ash)

OOC: Could you slow it down, just a tad? Also, slight PP of the Torrent.

BIC: Bryant was pacing back and forth, highly agitated. He decided to set off going in a circle aruond the Abbey. After a bit, he came to a wall gate, and the Torrent were just disappearing into the woodlands. He jogged after them, but stayed back from them. He knew he'd be spotted by them, sooner or later, but at the moment, he didn't care. They had Vatra.

OOC: Um, that's all ok with me, as long as my vermin have got to kill a few of the Torrents. It wouldn't be realistic if they all survived.

BIC: The vermin were all confused. The seemed to being attacked by an army, and invisible, flying army! Some vermin were hit by the missiles coming over the wall. Some were killed, other lay screaming on the lawns, wounded.
Jantar was watching the whole thing from an upstairs window. She was cursing under her breath. Where had all these warriors come from? Then she noticed the gates. "Raphael! Raphael where are you! Get some beasts to put that fire out now!"

Raphael was downstairs, in Great Hall, in a great amount of pain. But he heard Jantar's screeching, he quickly hurried, swearing all the way, outside, and quickly began taking charge. He sent a good amount of the horde out after the intruders, then he ordered some to help the wounded, then a load to get anything that would carry water, and make a line going from the pond to the gate. And whoever was left was ordered to stand guard on the walls, in case of another attack.

The falcon chased after the pursuers dropping the rest of his small load on them before peeling off in a completely different direction. The Torrent from the gate assault hooked around and picked up the slower moving band with Vatra. They had blatantly left a trail to that location, but started covering their tracks as soon as they changed course.

Upon nearing the campsites they split, most headed back to their own camp with the wounded, while Vatra was carried back towards Brockhall by Stormfront's two companions. They dropped her off by one of the traps before setting it off. After catching the sound of the alarm, they took positions inside the trees, waiting for Vatra to be found by the woodlanders.

Ervoyce was woken by the bell, he had been trying to sleep through his paranoia, but his dreams were just as bad. He heard the guards rushing off as he sat up, they were going to check the traps. The squirrel could only hope the bell tolled for good news.

OOC: Stormfront got shot in Cavern Hole or Great Hall or wherever we were, so he had to go back. Also, Bryant could find Vatra and bring her back to make it faster.

Also, sorry for the sudden passing of time, I can hold off posting for a bit if you guys had something planned for this between-time. I just skipped it because nothing interesting was going to happen that I was aware of.

OOCL: No, I just can't keep up sometimes....Sometimes I can't get on until late, or something, and by then you've already moved on a page!

BIC: Bryant bumbled along, cursing the roots, rocks, and branches under his breath, when he saw one of the traps up ahead - With Vatra by it. Then, the curses under his breath got a bit worse, as he ran over. He really hoped Ervoyce wouldn't kill him.....When he got to her, and he wriggled under her so that she was over his shoulders, her feet on one end and her head on the other. He carefully made sure her injuries weren't being pressed too hard, and he set off in the direction he fervently hope Brockhall was in. After a bit, he came upon the guards, who eyed his bundle, asking what happened. He just asked them to get him back to Brockhall, and they obeyed. After fifteen more minutes, Bryant was going down the steps with a muse in front, and an otter in back. He got to the Infirmary, laid Vatra down, and started looking for Ervoyce. After five more minutes, he found his room and hammered on the door. He called through, "Vatra's hurt and in the Infirmary! Get your bum up!"

OOC: Took a little liberty with time, hope y'all don't mind.

Ervoyce's eyes snapped open, he almost turned Bryant into a hotcake on the way out. He was half-way down the hall by the time he thought to thank his friend. After rushing back and making a hurried gesture of appreciation, he flew back down the hallway towards the Infirmary. He very nearly ran over roughly twelve or so beasts on the way there.

Upon nearing the room, Ervoyce slowed down. He paused as he reached for the door, "What happened? What had they been doing?........ Was Vatra.. dying?" Fear gripped his heart for the first time in years, it was an emotion he had next to no experience with. He had spent so much time traveling and fighting that death was second hand to him... But this was different. He opened the door slowly, quietly peeking in. He saw Vatra and didn't know whether to breath a sigh of relief or cry out in anguish. She was battered, but appeared to be alive. The dark squirrel edged his way in and sat down on a chair nearby, not even bothering to ask questions... He would wait and see.

Raphael licked his dry lips, and looked around at the grounds. Good, the fire on the gates had been put out. The pursuers were coming back, **** with some missing. Um, yes, everything seemed fine. Now were on earth were the ****** bandages.

Cornflower MM

Bryant rolled his eyes as Ervoyce ran him over, went halfway down the hall, ran back, made some gesture, and hared off again. He figured he might ought to explain, and followed him, helping about a dozen beasts remover their squished selves from corners, the floor, and other places. When he got to the Infirmary, and stood just inside the door, and licked his lips. "Uh, Ervoyce.....It's kinda....My fault!" He blurted out, then proceeded to tell the black squirrel all the details of what he knew, starting from when Vatra had asked him for his help.

Ushen took a long drink from his water flask, at the same time admiring his work. He was no where near down, but he'd done really well. The pictures weren't very detailed, but they were beautifully simple.

Ervoyce's eyes were closed... He just sat in the chair, listening to Bryant solely because there was nothing else he could do. Well after the white furred squirrel had finished, he offered a reply, "It's not your fault Bryant..... I would know, I've chased Vatra down numerous times myself. She went into Redwall of her own accord, for what I do not know, but there was nothing you could've done. This isn't the first time she's been like this or done these things, heck, I don't know of a time when she wasn't doing stuff like this." He chuckled slightly, "I know what you're thinking or at least were thinking. I'm not mad at you Bryant, if anything, I'm thankful you were at least there."

Bryant sagged against the wall in relief. "You mean, you're not going to kill me?"

Vatra was in an odd dream state she was by a river one she knew quite well yet had not seen in years. It was from her childhood a place she would go to play whit the other children or sometimes she would go alone to think. It was not a fast stream yet it seemed to talk in a murmer as it tripped lightly over the stones and fell of a short fall that was no more than a crickets jump down. The stream seemed to be saying something but she could not comprehend what but every now and then a memory would flash threw her head accompanied by some strong emotion Most of them where of Alec or Ervoyce but as time passed Ervoyce appeared more and more and Alec less till he was the only one. The streams voice was growing clearer till she could almost make out words and phrases "... Your not going to kill me?" was the first thing she heard clearly. She started puzled for a split second several things going threw her mind at once. Why was the stream asking her if she was going to kill it? Where had it gotten that idea? why was the stream even talking? and why did it sound like Bryant? At this she opened her eyes and saw Ervoyce looking back at her a worried expression on his face. She gave him a weak smile and said "Hi... you came,"
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

Ervoyce had opened his eyes, but when Vatra awoke and spoke to him, he buried his face in his paws and muttered something to himself. He looked back at Vatra and smiled with relief, he appeared to be on the edge of tears. He reached out with his right to grip her shoulder, "Of course I came... When haven't I?" He was trying to hold himself together, but the echo's of the threat of losing Vatra mixed with his enormous relief pushed out the first couple of tears.

Bryant slipped out quietly, closing the door behind him. When he turned around, the Infirmary sister was tapping her footpaw right behind him. "Umm, they're kinda having a private moment in there....." He whispered, and she nodded and walked off. Bryant decided to go find Ushen, and went to Arya's room, opened the door, and Ushen was drinking. "I'm here." He said, slipping in and shutting the door.
