"Skipper told you something, didn't he?" Bryony anwered, then she turned on her heel and statred walking off.
-----------------------------------
Skipper face-pawed, and muttered, "Oh, that squirrel!" under his breath.

Marshall finished the pot. He walked around for a bit, but saw Skipper and the two squirrels. He went over to see what had happened.
"Skip, what's been happen in'?"
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Monka had no idea what that was supposed to mean, so he ran after Bryony. "Bryony! Skipper hasn't said anything! Just talk to me for ****** sake!" He reached out, and grabbed Bryony's arm.

OOC: Is that ok Corn?

Cornflower MM

OOC: Perfectly fine. You know, I'm startuing to wonder if we're dragging this thing out for Bryony and Monka's sake.

BIC: Skipper shrugged. "Girly drama. C'mon mate. Let's leave the two lovebirds alone." So saying, he turned, saw Mirelle, and frowned. He started walking towards the kitchen once again, indicated the fox and ottermaid should follow them.
--------------------------------------------------------
Bryony turned slightly, so that she was facing Monka, and said, "Skipper told you that I, um, like you, didn't he?"

Monka opened his mouth to speak, the shut it again for a minute. "Um....kind of. It was back on the beach, after you'd slapped me. But what's wrong with you liking me? Is there something wrong with me?"

Jukka the Sling

OOC: Hey, Cornflower, could you please post as Martin?
BIC:

Mirelle noticed Skip walk back to the kitchens, and she followed. The whole thing had been kinda funny, but she realized once again that she was hungry. As soon as she entered the kitchens, she grabbed a few stray vegetables sitting on the counter and popped them in her mouth.
--------------------------
Mycroft left the front of the ship and headed toward the kitchens, as he figured the food should be ready by now.

"Aye mate, don't want a part of that!"
He followed the two otters back to the kitchens. His keen ears could bearly hear Monka's comment, but he replied to it in his thoughts,
"Nothing wrong with you, but with that squirrel yes there is!"

OOC: Gonff, if Marshall heard Monka's comment, then why not Bryony's? @Jukka: Sure!

BIC: <Martin was waiting by the Kictrehn door, rather impatiently.
------------------------------------
Skipper walked into the dining room, and noticed that his pot of soup was just sitting on a table. Frowning, he went over and started serving it again.
---------------------------------------
Bryony. "Well, um, no. . . It's just that I would have preferred to tell you myself! And there isn't anything wrong with you," She said, turning pink.

Jukka the Sling

OOC: Thanks!
BIC:

Still looking worried, Fern headed over to the door. "Where are we going?"
-----------------
Mycroft reached the galley and poked his head in. "Are the vittles ready? These creatures could use some tuck, wot."

Monka looked Bryony straight in the face. "Stop all this silliness, and just say it straight out. Come on, say it."

Cornflower MM

OOC: No problemo!

BIC: The ghost did a shrug. "I don't know. Somewhere quiet. Maybe your room?" He suggested, turning to head to the Abbess's room.
-------------------------------------------
Bryony blushed harder, and shook her head. She knew it was silly, she recognized that. . . . But,  still, it would still really, really hurt if he didn't like her back. So, why say? Very twisted logic, she knew.

OCC: Well, what I ment was he payed attention to his comment.

BIC: Marshall grabbed his pot and passed by Mycroft.
"We'll serve it now Cap'n!"

Monka left go of Bryony's arm, and walked back towards the kitchen for a few paces. But then he turned back around, and shouted back, "Bryony, you are just being impossible. If this makes it any easier than fine, I love you."
Monka had meant to say he liked her, but that other word had somehow slipped in.

Cornflower MM

Bryony blinked. "Wha-at?" She whispered, a smile spreading across her face.
