Boris rolled his eyes. "I don't think it's rigged with a bomb, but you can go 'ide back at the entraunce if ye want," he chuckled, opening the chest.

She then opened the chest.

Inside the chest was a bag of five gold pieces for each companion

ITEM: Gold piece-A gold piece is what classifies for money in the world of ruin runner, in some ruins you are able to buy the service of mercenaries, they might promise to stay out of your way, give you some advice or an item. You are not able to barter with these mercenaries, they will name a price and you will either pay it or deny them. If they are rival treasure hunters, it is readily assumed that there are a lot of them and it will probably make your experience of that ruin hell if you fail to pay them.

"Well, at least it's summat," commented Boris, passing the bag around so each beast could take their piece. "Although if this is the treasure looks like twas a vast waste of energy for five small pieces of gold."

The room is no longer useful, you go back up the passage and take the path to your right, you come out in a circular chamber, on the right hand wall is a statue like before, directly opposite is a passage

-Turn your back on the statue just to see what happens
-Back away from the statue and down the corridor
-Go back the way you came and try to find a statue-free route

Cath backed away from the statue and headed down the corridor.

You walk down the corridor a short distance when you come to a fork in the path, one path leads right, the other leads straight on
