Birds of the Mountain

[The Mask]

The wind blew steadily through Baaz's window. It was the second highest in the mountain, lower than only the King and Queen's chambers. He sighed and gazed at the clouds. The Flame Egg, as it was now called had been troubling him for a long time. What was it, why was it here, did he want a nest mate like that? He sighed again, spread his wings leaped out the window, He spread his wings and flew down to the lower levels.

Speckles surveyed her latest master piece, It was brilliant, she concluded, examining it with an expert's eye. Then the chickens frowned, and picked up a brush, to fix a minute smudge.

[Spearfinn]

As Falco flew around the mountain doing his daily patrol he spotted a fox lurking around base of the mountain! He must tell the king!! 

[Cornflower MM]

Arya Brownwing was not in the best mood at the moment. Would you call having a snake on your back out of nowhere enjoyable? She flew into a loop, and the thing fell off. The grand bald eagle shook her beak. Creatures these days!

[Gonff the Mousethief]

Sir MetalTalon was flying around carelessly. He wish everything was back to normal. Looking down, he saw Baaz flying, and flew to see him.
"Greetings Master Baaz. You seem  discomforted."

[Cornflower MM]

Arya noticed two other birds in the distance, and sped up. Perhaps they knew the royal family.

[Unimaginative]

Naalin Kraagtalon noticed a number of birds gathering nearby his stall. Maybe they would be buying from him, if they were drawn in by his wares.

The regal bald eagle was quite close to the other two birds by now - Bald eagles afferent fast flyers. "Hey, you two! I'm looking for the royal family." She called imperiously.

Speckles had decided to go for a walk, and was now approaching someone's stall. Maybe he had pigments, or brushes, or something she could use! She trotted over, her head bobbing.

OOC Yeah I'll play him occasionally for Narration. Please, if you can post OOC in the proper thread. I hadn't asked specifically so thats kinda my fault.

"Hello Sir MetalTalon. How's life treating you? To be honest I am quite troubled,that Egg..."
Baaz trailed off thoughtfully. He heard someone shouting to them so the turned around. He hopped back sharply, a large Bald eagle was approaching them.
"Ah well. Um I am err... Well I'm Prince Baaz. What's your name?

[Spearfinn]

Falco was just flying in the to the kings chamber. Falco reached the king. "My Lord, I have spotted a fox near the base of the mountain."

[Cornflower MM]

Arya drew up, and dipped her. "Prime Baaz. I beg your forgiveness for not recognizing you. I am Arya Brownwing and have to stay awhile." She finished, internally frowning at cursing at her absolutely horrible royal speech.

[The Mask]

"A fox you say? Hmm. It has been a long time since we have seen one around here. Thank you for informing me. We will post an extra guard. Now I have a job for you. You are a big strong bird, would you think you could scout around and look for any other foxes or vermin?" The king asked quietly.

" Staying? Will you be staying us? And don't worry about not recognising me, many dont. Although if you are staying, be warned, some strange things are happening." Baat said recalling the Flame egg, the thing that constantly crossed his mind.

[Cornflower MM]

"Aye, I'll be staying with you. I am, after all, a noble....And unofficial advisor to His Whiny Tail the Duke of Kiraka." She said, muttering the last bit under her breath.

Speckles, having gotten to the stall, spoke up. "Hi! I was wondering you have any brushes, pigments, paints, et cetera?" She chirped.
