I'm still reading Mossflower, but I'm almost done with it; I'm on Chapter 47 at the moment.

Life is too short to rush through it.

I FINALLY got The Sun Trail (from Warriors:  Dawn of the Clans), so I sat down last night and read till almost eleven!  Um, I believe I'm about ninety to a hundred pages in, but I don't remember the chapter number.  All I know is that I enjoy it MUCH more than The Power of Three and Omen of the Stars series.  It's got a really good story so far.  :)
If you're interested in my art or keeping in touch, I'm active on DeviantArt and Instagram!

I just finished reading "The Ruins of Gorlan" by J. Flanagan of the Ranger's Apprentice series. It was really good! The last Redwall Book I read was "Mariel of Redwall" (awesome!).

I just finished Operation Red Jericho, which is really interesting. I thought it would be a war story, but it's set in the 1920s and it's about these kids whose parents go missing, and they go to live with their uncle on his "research ship" the Expedient. Not is all as it seems, however, and they soon find that there are a great many secrets being kept about their uncle, their parents, their destinies, and how all these things relate to a mysterious organization called the Honourable Guild of Specialists. It is all quite intriguing. (Plus, it was published by Candlewick Press!)
I would love to read the two other books in the series, but my mom doesn't want me "getting too involved with books" this summer because she thinks I read too much and that I "hide out in my cave (aka my room) all day". :P
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Right now I'm working on re-reading through the entire Redwall series in chronological order. I'm onto the last few pages of Martin the Warrior and will probably finish it sometime today. Then I'll be starting Mossflower.

My dad makes us read for at least two hours during the summer.

I'm re-reading the Redwall series too. I've read Lord Brocktree and Martin the Warrior so far, and I'm almost done with Mossflower. Then it'll be on to The Legend of Luke!

DOCTOR: How is that news to anyone?

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

Cool! Mossflower is one of my favorite Redwall books so I'm really looking forward to starting it. I'm going on a drive today so I should have plenty of time to finish Martin the Warrior and start Mossflower.
