Vatra went into the forest and looked around for another branch. not finding one that had fallen she went over to a tree and jumping up she puled her self onto one and began to look for a suitable branch. She found one and bracing her feet on the branch below here she began to pull with all her weight on the branch above her head.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

As Bryant approached, Ash tried to cover her pain with a thin layer of calm and composure.  It wasn't the most effective of lies, but she hoped it would suffice, lest she make Bryant feel worried and uncomfortable.

Clearing her throat, the wildcat shook her head and said haltingly, "No, no, you're... fine.  I'm alright.  I'll be... I'll be fine.  Just... just hurry up with... the poultice, yeah?"  Then, clamping her mouth shut, the female began grinding her teeth again, rubbing her ankle softly to try and get the pain to recede.  Somehow it helped.  She watched Vatra as the squirrel disappeared into the forest, wishing she could help, and frustrated that she couldn't.  Oh well, she thought, at least I injured myself after I vaulted over the ditch, and not before.

Bryant smiled, and hurrief up with the pouyltice, as requested. He tore of a strip of his tunic, and then hesitated. "May I?" He asked.

OOC: Can I PP Ash a little bit, Rain? Just enough to bind up her footpaw?

After a moment's hesitation, the she-cat nodded and held her breath.  This was going to hurt.

OOC:  Yep, fine by me.  :)

Bryant quickly put on the poultice and wrapped up her footpaw, stabilizing it as much as he could so it wouldn't be as painful. A few minutes later, he smiled at Ash. "There you go!" He said, cheerfully.

Ash grunted, biting the inside of her cheek to keep from screaming.  She could taste blood.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, the wildcat planted her paws on the ground and started to push herself up, leaning heavily on her good leg.  She took a few steps, hopping to keep from making her right ankle explode with pain.  "Not too bad," she said, wincing ever so slightly at her lie.  No matter how much discomfort she felt, Ash didn't want the others to think her weak, and so she kept the truth from them.  She didn't want them treating her like a babe who tripped and fell into a mud puddle or anything like that.  That would be awful.

Looking around for a short time, Ash found a sturdy-looking stick that appeared to have been broken off of a large oak recently.  She limped over to it and picked it up, leaning against the wood to keep her upright.  It would be much better to have a walking stick than to hop around on one paw like a deranged frog.  Yes, much, much better.

Bryant himself had had a sprained footpaw or two, and he shook his head at Ash's stubbornness. "Hmm, okay. But you must tell me if the pin gets bad. Okay, Ash?" He half asked, half scolded.

Toka had left his tree and gone out for a walk. And yes, it was as boring as it sounded. He wandered around the familiar area for a while, hands in pockets, then stopped at a clearing. He then began doing some knife throwing at the surrounding trees, and he practiced with his sword a little. After about an hour of this he sat back and took a break. Sipping a bottle of beer which he had stolen awhile ago from some travellers.
Why am I even bothering staying here? He thought to himself. But if I leave, where would I go? The whole wandering thing is boring. But the folks round here are beginning to realise a thief is around. Those locks their beginning to use are really hard to pick. Well, I guess that decides it. I'll leave then tonight. Um, south-east of here sounds good. Ok, then.

OOC: I have no clue what to do, I need Rain.

Rainshadow

  OOC:  Eheheh... sorry!

BIC:  "Alright," Ash agreed, fully intending not to say anything about her pain.  She started looking around, wondering where the third member of their party had wandered off to.  "Bryant, do you know what became of Vatra?  I don't see her."

The branch came loose with a loud crack and Vatra Just managed to keep her balance. She jumped down from her perch and returned to the path  stripping the leaves and extra twigs of the branch. She stopped a good distance from the waterlogged ditch and gave a running head start, jamming the end of the branch in the muddy bottom She vaulted into the air and landed neatly on the other side. "There, are you ready?" She said brushing her paws off.
