The rat on the deck watched as a ship pulled alongside him. He could tell he wouldn't have much time to warn them. Warn them, he had to warn them... He rasped out as clearly as he could as figures he could not quite make out with his blurred and tearstained eyes boarded his ship. "There was... a buzzing... High pitched, higher than your airship... Never heard it before... Then he was upon us... Green and horrid... I saw my friends wither and atrophy before me... I was shot, lashed... countless times... left for dead... they're dead... all dead..." The rat struggled against the lead bleeding off toxins into his chest, and his chest bleeding off red blood into the warm, temperate air. He drew a breath, and then another... And then was still.

Arya heard his message and gasped, her eyes wide. She lookd at the rat, who was now dead, and ran to find Vicky.

[Izeroth]

OOC: Would it be alright if my ship catches up with yours? I don't want to ruin anything you're doing, but I think it might be interesting.

[BlueRose]

OOC: Sure, I guess.

BIC: Vicky examined the crashed airship carefully from her viewport, curious but cautious.

Arya saw Vicky, and ran over. "Cap'n Vicky, there was a rat, whp's just now died, and there's blood everywhere, but he tried to warn us!" She babbled, before pausing to suck in a few ddep gulps of air.

"Arya, calm down." Vicky put a paw on Arya's shoulder. "Calm down and then try again. "

[Izeroth]

  Flying across the desolate wastes, the steel fist suddenly ground to halt. "Whats's the matter?" Hadrian inquired.

  "There's two ships ahead, sir," was the helm-beast's reply. "One's on the ground and the other's hovering close by."

"Go in closer," the captain ordered. "It's more than likely that pirates are involved."

"Arya, calm down." Vicky put a paw on Arya's shoulder. "Calm down and then try again. "

Arya nodded, and waited a few moments. "There was his rat, who was still alive when I found him. He told me, 'There was... a buzzing... High pitched, higher than your airship... I was shot, lashed... countless times... left for dead... they're dead... all dead...' That's it, word for word." The squirrel recited.

Vicky nodded, and turned to Shael. "We need to get to the Quarry. Thank you, Arya."

OOC: Jet, do you want to notice Izzy?

OOC: Alright. By the way, I think Rus passed out rather than died

Dave made his way to the stern of the ship and leaned on the fence stopping him from falling to his death. There was something behind them but he couldn't see it clearly. The cat removed his shades and clipped them into his jacket pocket. Able to see clearly now, he could tell what it was that was following them, another airship, a military airship. He pulled his book from his belt, wrote a quick message in it, strapped it open to the page he had written on and lobbed it as hard as he could at the back of Vicky's head

Just a heads up, we're being followed by the powers that be

The paper hit Shael instead, as he moved between Dave and Vicky on his way to the controls. "Hey!" He picked it up and read it, before nodding thankfully to Dave and tossing the paper to Vicky. "Arm up, you three. We may have a fight on our tails."
