For those who have put on costumes for Halloween, here is our topic for roleplay across the forum, and anywhere in particular.

Scrappy wandered up to a huge gate, well, huge by his standards given his small stature.  He bangs on the wooden gate loudly, no knocker in sight.

"Trick or treat you big meanies, not even leavin' a light outside for us goin' around here!"  The sound echoed throughout the abbey but all was still for the moment.  Scrappy heard nothing.  "Must be asleep!"  Then he decided he'd have to break down the gate to get inside and see what was about.  This was a destination on the Hallow's Eve map after all, wasn't it?  Taking about ten steps back, he broke into a run.  "Ta, ta, ta, da, da, daaaa, puppy power!"

[BlueRose]

Kyoya, third son of the prestigious Ootori family; watched the small, clumsy looking dog fool around with a look of disdain on his well formed features.

[Rainshadow]

  It was incredibly dark in Mossflower Woods, Nagisa Hazuki realized as he walked shakily down the path, using his glow-in-the-dark jack-o'-lantern pail for light.  The soft orange glow of the bucket did little to illuminate the dusty road, and often the blonde would trip over rocks, twigs, and other such things.  His once-clean pirate costume was now covered in a thick layer of dirt, and his captain's hat was askew, the large feather hanging down into his purpley-pink eyes.

  Suddenly, the young swimmer noticed movement up ahead.  After letting out an incredibly girlish scream, Nagisa realized it was just a dog running at a door.  That's weird... he thought, holding his lantern bucket up, trying to get a better view.  The teen then noticed a tall-looking figure standing not too far from the strange dog and screamed again, somehow managing to hit a higher pitch the second time.

  After a moment of catching his breath from the loud screech, the swimmer realized how ridiculous he was being and cautiously started forward, calling out, "Hello?"

Ragnor dearly wished that he had brought Magnus and Catarina with him, the trio always had the best adventures together. That's not to say that adventuring on your own isn't fun, but trudging through a gloomy forest with no company could get a bit tedious. As he was thinking this, the trees cleared and he stepped out onto a path. He peered ahead of him, an enormous building stood not far up the road, there were a few shadows moving about at the base, one was tiny. An earsplitting scream rang out across the night, Ragnor cursed and ran towards the source of the noise

[Unimaginative]

Sargon surveyed the scene in front of him. A silly looking Dog seemed to be preparing to run into a door, while a proud looking man and nervous teenager seemed to be talking.

[Lutra]

Before Scrappy could bash his nose into the gates of Redwall, a scream from behind made him stop awkwardly and about face.

"I'm not afraid of you! Put 'em up!" he barked into the darkness, not really knowing who was out there but not willing to back down.  "If you're thinkin' of scaring me, well you didn't!"  He moved from the door in the general direction of the scream.  He didn't get far on the road before seeing various characters standing there, much taller than him.  Scrappy, his usual self, but seeing that he had no idea who these guys were, grabbed onto the leg of the teen and didn't let go.  "I'm gonna splat you with a capital "S" and you're not gonna like it!"

[Jetthebinturong]

Ragnor came to an abrupt halt upon arriving at the scene "Was this really worth screaming about? By Raziel, I thought someone was being killed!" he straightened his tie and rolled his sleeves back up. He peered down at Scrappy "Well I've never seen a demon like that before, still, it's a pleasant surprise, seeing that not all demons are hideous beasts"

[Rainshadow]

  One moment, there had just been a dog and a tall teenager at the gate, but now there were a number of strange characters in the shadows, and that dog was hanging from Nagisa's leg!  Yet again, he screamed, shaking his leg to try and be rid of the animal.  "Get it off me!" he wailed, not understanding what this dog was doing and to terrified to wonder how he could understand it.  Tears were streaming from his eyes, and the hat feather was tickling his nose, only worsening the tears.

  Suddenly, a new figure ran towards the swimmer.  He was saying something about...

  "Demon?!" Nagisa shrieked, shaking his leg even harder.  "Get the demon off me!  I don't want to die!"

[Lutra]

Scrappy refused to let go.

"I'm no demon!  I'm just a puppy!  Ruff!" he retorted.  "And who are you anyway sneakin' up on me like that?"  It was at this time Scrappy decided to let go before he went flying into the woods.

[Jetthebinturong]

Ragnor stared "You can't seriously expect me to believe that you are a talking dog, dogs do not talk" he crouched down "Then again, you are very dog-like, are you the pet of some warlock who decided he wanted some company to talk to? I can think of some easier ways to go about it than enchanting a dog but..."

[Rainshadow]

  Nagisa, still a bit shaken up, clutched his jack-o'-lantern close to his chest and stared at the demon... dog... thing.  He was very confused as to what the green person was talking about, as well as very curious about what this green creature was, but he dared not ask.  For all he knew, the horned stranger could be some sort of monster that wanted to eat humans!  At that thought, the blonde nearly wet himself.  A monster that ate humans?  Why did he have to go trick or treating?  He should have just stayed home when the others declined his offer to dress up.  Now he was going to die in the wilderness, eaten by some green freak!  Nagisa started crying again, hiccuping every now and then from how hard he was sobbing.

[Lutra]

"I talk fine!" Scrappy snorted, "and if there's some meanie warlock around here, I'll splat 'em!"  Scrappy made as if to punch an invisible beast as if to show he meant business.  "My Uncle Scoob and Shaggy got lost somewhere and I saw that castle over there and thought it was part of the Halloween community candy drive.  Are you part of that too huh, are ya?"

[Jetthebinturong]

Ragnor gave an exasperated sigh "Oh stop crying! There's nothing to be scared of, at least, not to my knowledge" he stood up and looked around, his eyes passing between Nagisa and Kyoya "So what are you? Werewolves? Vampires? You can see me so you're obviously not mundanes" he looked down at the dog and chuckled "You? Splat a warlock? That'd be the day" he raised an eyebrow "Halloween community candy drive?"

[Rainshadow]

  The curly-haired boy stopped crying as soon as the green man ordered him to, afraid of what might happen if he disobeyed this frightening person.

  "So what are you? Werewolves? Vampires? You can see me so you're obviously not mundanes"

  "Mundanes?" Nagisa asked, suddenly forgetting about his fear as it was replaced by curiosity.  "What's a mundanes?  And I'm not a werewolf... I don't think.  Not a vampire, either.  I'm a swimmer.  What are you?  Why are you green?  Why do you have horns?"
