That's another bug for you, because here are the house prices:

*Heathfire land plots (Falkreath, The Pale, Hjaalmarch): 5,000 septims.
#Breezehome (Whiterun): 5,000 septims.
#Honeyside (Riften): 7,000 septims.
%Vlindrel Hall (Markarth): 7,000 septims.
*Hjerim (Windhelm): 12,000 septims.
#Proudspire Manor (Solitude): 25,000 septims.

* = good house.
# = bad house.
% = Vlindrel Hall is a bit smaller than Honeyside, but really nicely styled.

Oh. Well yeah, you definitely wasted your money. If you do that, the only one I would advise buying is the Hearthfire land plot. If you don't have Hearthfire, save up for Hjerim or Vlindrel Hall.

Skyrim. He encountered a bug where Ancano from the College of Winterhold was following him and murdering everyone, even characters which can't be killed EVEN IF SET TO NON ESSENTIAL, like Balgruuf and Children.
