i voted for hank johnny and aerosmith my least fav of these michal jackson he was a good singer when he was younger but when he was older he sounded awful

i have only heard of bob dylan and bruce springsteen i think bruce is more of legendary than bob dylan so i'll put im up there

Bob Dylan has been called "The Voice of a Generation" (even though, to be honest, it is his lyrics that does the job, his voice is quite terrible) and his lyrics are still relevant today. He still tours, although his voice at the moment is horrible and he seems to have lost his ability to perform. But yet, people still pay big money to see him (my brother included) because of how incredible a man he is and just to see such a legendary performer. Plus, almost everyone I ask knows Dylan, but not everyone knows Bruce Springsteen.

Elvis Costello I wouldn't have expected you to put up, really, but I think Neil Young certainly fits this category you seem to have made.
