Eul, notice Sage. Ashe, go outside. Kit, follow Katrina, or don't.

Eulaliaaa!

Lynn slowed down to a stop, silently watching James and Bobby working on the generators. She started slowly moving towards them, staring at the generators curiously.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

OOC: What now?

OOC:

Plot! Think of a plan to escape. Brainstorm with Lynn (Although the conversation might be a little one-sided. ::) ). Once @Lord Ashenwyte POSTS I can have him run into someone else as well.

Spike nodded.
"Good with a blade, eh? Good, you'll prove well as Shank's assistant, in the kitchens. But there's hope for you yet, Vault Dweller. I like you."
Three raiders hauled Sargon upright and shoved him towards Shank.
"Okay, that's sorted. Back to business, everyone."
Spike clicked his fingers, and the Vault Dwellers were separated, being forced off to their respective positions.

Sargon is shepherded into the corrugated-iron shack, where Shank is waiting. The raider sits in the corner, drinking a whiskey as several of the other Painspikes eat their breakfast. At one point, one raider stands up and pulls a knife on another.
"Oi, don't take me Mirelurk Cakes!"
"I didn't take 'em!"
"Yeah ya did!"
Shank sips his drink, pulling a sawed-off shotgun from underneath the serving counter. He blasts the knife-wielder, takes another drink, and tosses the shotgun back under the bar.
"What're ya lookin' at? Shuddup an eat!"
He notices Sargon standing in the doorway.
"Ah, mornin', Vaultie. You're the new cook, I take it?"
Sargon nods.
"Good, good. Damn it, shotgun's out of ammo. Alright, just come back here and give us a hand, will ya?"
Once Sargon steps behind the counter, Shank tosses the empty whiskey bottle into a nearby metal barrel.
"Alright, we're gettin' low on Brahmin steak. Take that machete there. There's a dead Brahmin in the yard, go cut 'er up."
"Brahmin?"
"Yeah, Brahmin. They're in the field out the back. Like cows, but with two-heads. Oh, an' grab us a few mutfruits, will ya? There's a plant out in the Brahmin field, just grab us ten or so an' toss 'em into the big pot near the door. Once ya've sliced that Brahmin into some nice steaks, I'll come give ya a hand ta cook 'er up."

{Kit}

The woman lights a cigarette and dangled her legs lazily off the side of the bridge.
"Paladin Payton of the Brotherhood of Steel, but you can call me Katrina. Who're you, kid from Vault 46?"
Just as Kit was close to the top of the ladder, a Vertibird appeared over the top of a nearby building. It turned side-on to the building, and the side-mounted minigun began ripping one floor of the structure to shreds. Katrina swore.
"Bloody Enclave. At least they're not killin' us."
All of a sudden, a small projectile, like a missile, shoots out of the building and slams into the front of the Vertibird. A scream fills the air, as the gunner, on fire, falls out of the vehicle. The cockpit starts to go up in flames the aircraft spirals downwards. Katrina flicks her cigarette off the side of the bridge and pulls a Pip-boy, the same mode as Kit's, out of one pocket.
"Whoever those guys are, they've got some serious firepower. Hey, Jamison, we got a Vertibird down near the Eastern Bridge."
"What? Damn it, wasn't one of ours that shot 'em down. Get over there, secure the place and grab anything valuable from the wreck. I don't know if Ramos'll be happy about this. Wastelanders taking down Enclave."
"Yeah, well tell the Elder that we should try and actually take a Vertibird intact for once. We aren't gaining anything from shootin' 'em down, aside from the odd piece of Enclave gear."
"Copy. HQ Out."
Katrina strapped her rifle to the back of her suit and tucked the Pip-boy back in a pocket.
"Time for introductions later, kid. I'm going to go check out that Vertibird. Don't follow me."

OOC: I assume she's crossing the bridge?

BIC: Kit waited until Payton was a fair distance away. He sidled over to the side of the bridge, under the shadow of one of the supporting beams.
"Don't follow, eh? We'll see."
Kit decided to follow Payton, staying a fair distance away, remaining in the shadows.

OOC: Why is a Brotherhood soldier wearing black power armor?

BIC: James noticed Lynn approaching out of the corner of his eye. Shifting over to Bobby, he whispered st the other Vault Dweller. "There's one of ours. Let's see if we can get closer without attracting any attention."

Yeah.

OOC: Why is a Brotherhood soldier wearing black power armor?

Payton wasn't the one wearing black armor, that was the fellow she shot. Although I meant to just say black armor (like combat armor), not power armor. Black power armor is what the Enclave wears, and those chaps weren't Enclave.

{Kit}

Once she began to cross the bridge, Payton armed her rifle once again. She ducked behind one of the support beams as three of the black-armored men started emerged from the door. She blasted one of them before ducking back behind the beam. The surviving two began to shoot the beam, and a few bullets ricocheted to near where Kit was standing, but the Vault Dweller managed to avoid being hit. Griggs and the three other raiders accompanying him jog up to where the Vault Dweller took cover. Griggs ducks behind the beam, next to Kit.
"What's the deal, kid? That sniper's still looking quite alive to me. Still, it looks like she's leavin'. Probably for the best. We don't kill the Brotherhood, they probably won't kill as as quickly. Oi, Payne!"
One of the other raiders sticks his head out from behind one of the other beams.
"You recognize those fellows?"
"The ones in black armor? Aren't they mercs?"
"Not sure. I know the mercs the Followers have got protecting 'em don't wear black, but there could be others interested in the city."
"Reckon they're Enclave?"
"Of course they're not Enclave. They've got combat armor and real guns. Enclave is more advanced than that. Could just be guns-for-hire helpin' somebody other'n the Brotherhood. Or a different Raider gang, just one with better stuff."
"What do we do, boss?"
"Do I look like I care? Oi, kid, do you have a gun? You don't, do you? Payne, give the kid one of yours."
The raider tosses a pistol to Kit.
"Oi, kid, you're the one that that Brotherhood chick doesn't want to vaporize. You want to help her? Think you can talk her into not slaughtering the whole lot of us if we help kill those fellas?"

{Eul, Sage}

Bobby nodded.
"I reckon we do that one next."
He picked up the toolbox and started walking towards the generator closest to the fence. As he got closer to the fence, the Guard tripped, sending the contents of the box spilling out against the fence.
"Damn it! Can you give us a hand, James?"
The Vault Dweller winked.

Lady Ashenwyte

Sargon went out butchered the strange cow carefully, carving fifteen steaks precisely, and went to the mutfruit plant, taking ten. He went back to the kitchen, saying "Here are your steaks and mutfruits."

The security guard knelt down by Bobby, keeping a close eye on the raider guards. They didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary... as long as they kept their voices down, they would be okay.

"We need a plan to, well, get out," said James, not raising his head too much. "Any ideas? We might be able to make some weapons out of these tools."

Shank spat half his mouthful of beer onto the floor with a laugh.
"Hah! You can't be serious, can you? Oh. Oh yes, you are serious. That was fast. Spike really picked the right man for the job, didn't he? I think I'm going to enjoy having you around. Tell you what, hold on to that machete. I don't want the best assistant I've had in years getting stabbed by some drunk, do I? What's the firewood situation like? Fine... Could do with some more gas for the blowtorch though. Head out the door, take a left, and there's this big cabin with a fenced off area beside it. Just head inside the cabin, and there should be some blowtorch gas directly on your right."

Eulaliaaa!

Lynn knelt down to pick some of the items up, giving a barely visible shrug. She looked carefully through the spilled tools to see if any were usable. Perhaps they could get a weapon and escape silently by night after they've gained some trust. Slowly, she spelled the word 'night' into the dirt, then brushed it away and wrote the words 'after they trust'. She waited a few seconds before erasing that as well.

"It's take a long time for that to happen," remarked James offhandedly, as if speaking to Bobby about some mechanical thing. "But it could still work with or without."

{Sage, Eul}

Bobby nodded.
"Yeah, true. I don't think we even need to do that, to be honest. If we do it quickly, and do it cleanly, we should be able to do it without anything going wrong."
He lowered his voice.
"What about Kit? Sargon's around here somewhere, whoever sees him first can let him know about the plan, but what about the boy? I haven't seen him at all since we were tossed into the slave pen last night."

Hickory

"If he joined up with the Raiders, he's a lost cause. He might want to come with us, but he could also two-time us and just get us captured again, probably killed too."
