Attend to me you Redwallers
And travelers harken well
The time has come to gather here
And to heed the tale I tell

Of the seasons past uncounted
A score and a half we measure
Since our Abbey's gates first opened
And founded this place we treasure

A score and three tales we received
With exploits bold and daring
Tempered by both the quiet and meek
Who showed great love and caring

Alas, alack, and fie upon
Cruel fates that have seen fit
To snuff out the candle of one
Who had both wisdom and wit

Though our founder may be lost
To the pasture beyond the sun
'Tis true that with friends like these
That his work has just begun

And so the duty falls to us
'Lest his memory fade away
Joined with our friends, both old and new
Together we eat and play

Once again, harvest time has come
And thanks to everybeast
We gather all, in Cavern Hole
To share in a bountiful feast

I invite you all, otters to moles
Squirrels, hedgehogs, and mice
Brothers and Sisters of our order
Or travelers we entice

Please come and lounge by the fire
Or sit eagerly at our tables
For we wish to share our food
And songs, stories, and fables

Entertain us and we will return
The same treatment to you
Now come eat up heartily
A'fore some hares come through

I ask you now to bow your head
As seasons now we thank
For trifles, cakes, pies, and puddings
Not leaving our tables blank

Without fail once again
We seek to drink and feast
I call to order the occasion
Now dig in everybeast!

Thirty years of Redwall! Can you believe it? I can't. Thirty years is mind-blowing! Longer than most of us here have been alive, and from a time when the world looked so different. But look at us now! Redwall is still here, warming our hearts and lives with its always-open doors. Come and sit at the feast and share your Redwall memories. This is a time to celebrate and rejoice! Onwards to FORTY years! Redwaaaaallll!!!
