Unofficially adding my vote, making it option 1.

You lift the heavy weapon off the rack, and replace it with your first rifle.

You got the T-21 blaster. (deals 14 damage.)

Advancing further into the craft, flickering lights show other, similar gun racks. Finally, you enter the main cabin of the vessel. A few containers are scattered about - a footlocker, supply crate, and medkit all present themselves. Ahead is the cockpit, and the black figure of the pilot moves about.

Attack the pilot.
Open the footlocker.
Open the supply crate.
Open the medkit.

Your inventory

Light Armor. (4 damage resistance)
T-21 Rifle. (deals 14 damage)
1 fragmentation grenade
3 medkits. (Heals health instantly)
2 stims. (Minor health increase, temporary damage resistance)
Poison kit. (Purges poisons)
4 slices. (Allows you to hack into computers)
5 motherboards. (You can repair damaged machines with this)
Belt pouches (Holds important information)

Hefting the rifle into position, you take aim for the pilot's head After pulling the trigger, there was a millisecond of charge up before a blast of energy wipes the pilot clean from life. However, the blast cracks the window, and there's a whistle as air is drained out into space. You still have time to open one of the containers, though.

Open the footlocker.
Open the supply crate.
Open the medkit.

Your inventory

Light Armor. (4 damage resistance)
T-21 Rifle. (deals 14 damage)
1 fragmentation grenade

You flip open the clasp on the locker and take a look inside. There's a mix of loot. You scoop it all up.

You got heavy armor. (Absorbs 6 damage)
You got a medkit.
You got a ion pistol (deals extra damage to droids)
You got a sonic grenade. (disorients attackers)

You equipped - heavy armor

The vacuum of space has sucked away at the glass, and made a gaping, screaming hole. You need to get out of the craft, fast. You run towards the exit, each step harder with the pull of space. Suddenly, you lose your footing and fall against a seat, slowly being dragged towards the hole. You could see what that nearby red lever does, or try and get out yourself.

Pull the lever.
Try and get out yourself.

Your inventory

Heavy armor (6 damage resistance)
Light Armor. (4 damage resistance)
T-21 Rifle. (deals 14 damage)
Ion pistol (deals 7 damage to organic creatures, 10 to robots)

2 stims. (Minor health increase, temporary damage resistance)
Poison kit. (Purges poisons)

It'd be nice to know where we are in the craft, but I guess in the haze of the moment the character's probably not too aware of that.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lever's some sort of ejection lever.

If we're only "slowly" being pulled towards the hole, let's roll the dice, I guess.

Ignoring the lever, you find handholds and start to climb up. It's easy now that you can use all four limbs, and soon you're right by the floor of the hangar. However, the craft starts to fall away, sliding out of the Nebulon. Just in time, though, your saved by a Rebel soldier who notices your predicament. Dragging you back into the safe zone, he watches the craft fall into space. You stand up. "Uh, thanks."

"No problem," he says with a Mid Rim accent. "It's be a shame to lose someone like you. I'm Ordo."

"Rahea," you say. "Nice to meet you."

You have a new companion - Ordo.

The hallway out of the hangar is full of Rebel troops - evidently other Imperials are trying to board the ship. You aren't going to help them this time, however. Ordo leads you towards the bridge. "So, are you from a different ship? I say the escape pod."

Tell him the truth.
Lie.

"I'm from a crashed ship," you say. Ordo nods understandingly. "The cruiser that blew up," he said. "I see."

You reach the bridge of the frigate, which is definitely different from the past one. Officers like Jan scurry about and man the stations, and you can see escape pods like your own flying about in the midst of battle. You remember the belt pouches Jan gave you - now would be a great time to hand it over. Ordo notices the pouches in your hand and walks over to the captain, who is a humanoid alien. "Sir, one of the escapees from the cruiser has the information."

The captain turns around. "Excellent. I'll take that," he says, and his long, dry fingers remove the pouch from your hand. "Here's a reward."

You lost Belt Pouches.
You got 100 credits.

"Anything you want to know?"

Speech options:

- What's with this battle?
- What are we going to do about the Empire?
- How can I help?

Exit the conversation.

"How can I help?"

The captain thought for a second. "There's not much to do. We've repelled the boarders so far, so combat isn't needed... But you can help with repairs."

You got a tool kit.

"Head down to the lower levels - the engineers need help."

You nod and turn to head down the hallway. You could always talk to Ordo if you want, or trade with him.

Talk to Ordo.
Trade with Ordo.
Head towards the lower levels.

You and Ordo step into the turbolift to the lower levels. The lights flash by until the turbolift slows to a stop and the door slide open. This area is darker and a lot less clean - gunners frantically load energy shells into turbolasers, and cables cover the floor like snakes. A dirt-blackened engineer jogs up to you. "You the new help? Get over here, we need you to help one of the ion cannon crews."

The ion cannon is different from the turbolasers. It has a bulbous barrel that is far more organic than the cylindrical turbolasers. "Mon Calamari design," boasts the engineer. "Jus' got 'em installed a few months ago. Devastate Imperial shields. Problem is, the crystals need focusing after every two or three shots."

He kneels down by the side, showing you an open chamber with three blue crystals, which focus the ion energy. "This one is broken beyond normal repair," says the engineer. "You'll need to actually replace the crystals. Here's the replacements." Taking out a heavy metal container, he sets it down by the cannon. "The repair kit you have should give you all the tools you need," he says before standing up. "Good luck."

You and Ordo look inside the chamber. The problem is evident - the machinery holding the crystals in place is all by destroyed. "Looks like the super-amplifier for the energy is broken as well," comments Ordo. "On top of that, the particle distributor is split. We need to fix both of those before we replace the crystals."

You give the soldier a look of befuddlement. Neither of those phrases makes sense to you. Ordo looks askance back at you, then seems to get an idea. "Here," he says, giving you a computer chip he got out of his back pocket. "This is a Trait Chip," he explains. "It gives you a computer enhancement to whatever you want - intelligence, speaking, combat, almost anything. Your armor is biomechanically tethered to your body - it works with you in more ways than one. Stick the chip in the interface, and it'll allow you to enhance your intelligence so you can work on the cannon."

Taking the chip, you find the interface on the chest plate and insert the chip. Your wrist gauntlet lights up with a display, and you see that it reads with different traits to enhance. You pick Mechanical Intelligence, and confirm the choice. The armor lights dim, but your mind feels a bit more powerful. Now, when you look at the cannon, you can see the problems Ordo pointed out. With this new power, you crouch down and observe the machine. What to do first?

Fix the super-amplifier.
Fix the particle distributor.

@James Gryphon: I forgot to mention that the red lever a few posts back would've closed the blast doors for the windows, sealing off the interior from space. ;)
