Thanksgiving

Apparently Canadians have their own Thanksgiving in October.

My family will either have dinner at home, or (and I'm hoping for this one) visit relatives.

A coworker is taking a shift for me, so I get to go home for Thanksgiving. I think we're doing Thanksgiving in my hometown with my mom's side of the family this year, because I'm pretty sure we did it with my dad's side of the family in Chicago last year. Either way, it's a chance to see my family, see my dog, eat a lot, and do laundry for free.

I get to dress up (I hate dressing up) to go see my grandma and spend the night.

Sadly, no. As in, the dining room doesn't accept jeans and t-shirts, effectively cutting out 95% of my wardrobe. The other five percent (not including my dance clothes, of course) is stuff I don't really like. Too girly, too showy, or too revealing by my standards.

Haha, yeah. Thankfully, tunics & leggings are a thing now. That should pass. (If not. . . . THEY CAN DEAL WITH IT  )
