Time passes, Eowyn sits near her dying uncle, savoring the last moment with him.

Meanwhile back on the field the enemy has now recovered and made their way back on the field, eastward from the where Osgiliath stood. And new forces came northward of the road to Cair Andros, and from under the walls westward to the city came the legions of Morgul, and southward on the field came monkey soldiers of Harad with horsemen before them, and above them rose the huge backs of the elephants with war towers upon them.
