As Inferno scanned the surrounding area, he couldn't help but notice that some beasts were having yet more difficulty than himself. Quite a lot now that he stopped to notice. The squirrel couldn't help but reprimand himself, he was far better off than many of the students present. He approached one of the ones in the worst condition, a Marten, and offered his services, "I don't mean to intrude, but you seem like you could use some assistance?"

Lu tried not to shy away as the squirrel approached, but she couldn't make eye contact with him. She instead stared at his tunic, tensing up so as to not shake. Why do you have to be such a weakling? she yelled at herself. Quit cowering and look this squirrel in the eyes! But she couldn't. Not now. Probably not ever.

It was then that the she-marten realized he'd started speaking.

"...use some assistance?"

Did he want her help? No, if he was speaking to her, he would've seen how badly she was doing. Was he offering his service? That was possible.

"Could you possibly... um... say that again?"

Screet looked over at the other students and saw the squirrel offer his help to the marten, who was obviously struggling. He wished someone would help him. Then again, this farming wasn't much different than what he had done as a young child, before his family moved the small town near them and became bakers and-no don't think about that, he thought, anyway, this was kind of comforting work and he was fine with it.

Shi Kay olizapha... Something murmured from outside the gates, yet oddly enough each of the students heard it. Once the phrase was over the locked gate popped open and a weasel walked in. "Greetings, My name is Shi Kay and I'll be escorting you to your classes today."

As Inferno started to restate his earlier question, he was interrupted by a rather official looking weasel. Sighing, he spoke to Lu again, "I guess we have other things to do at the moment." With that, the smokey squirrel made his way quickly to the guide.

BIC: Grace came out of her house she had found some thing odd while she had been working and had gone inside her house to put it away for later. She went over to the others and the owner of the voice she had herd.
