who read redwall first?

Me
Not me

Lord Brocktree

I first started reading the series many years ago when I was but in 5th grade. My teacher knew I loved reading and she recommended the strange sounding series known as "Redwall". The title seemed rather odd, but she recommended I start with Mossflower to help understand the series better. The rest is history after that first book.
"An' if on an empty tummy I'm slain,
Then I'll jolly well never get killed again,
So pass the pudden an' fetch those pies,
An' I'll give the foebeast a rotten surprise!"

Redwall. My dad actually introduced me. I read it, and instantly fell in love with the series.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Your dad read Redwall?

Life is too short to rush through it.

I can do that because I'm awesome.

I've read the first 6 books, but redwall was definitely my first.   :)

I don't remember... I was in 3rd grade or something when I started. My dad had the whole series up to that point, and I just went in and picked one up... and my life was forever changed!

I read them all in order.
You mean Publication Order?
Yes, publication order.
Not that this post was really necessary. ;D

The first one I read was The Outcast of Redwall. In 4th grade, we were being allowed to go into the Young Adult section of our school's library for the first time. The cover image looked cool, the story seemed cool, and there were a bunch of AR points to get out of reading it, so I went for it.
