In the past, proms have worked by one person taking the role of a manager or coordinator of the prom. They can appoint bartenders, DJs, etc. as the requests come in, and come the time for the actual prom, they make a post that describes the setting. In the meantime, the promgoers typically find dates, pick out clothing, and, in the case of some, choose hairstyles. When the prom occurs, they arrive, dance, talk, and eat, all typical things to do at a prom. Sometimes, certain partiers will be the source of odd shenanigans – I think there was some sort of weird castle exploration arc that occurred at the last prom thread I read.

Also, prom usually happens in April, so maybe you guys ought to wait a bit instead of starting one now.
