*Gets up and runs over to Eb, pulling her away from the downed One-Eye.*  Hey, hey, stay awake now Eb, you can't go to sleep just yet!  *Kade was surprised at the shape she was in; apparently his healing from earlier hadn't been quite as effective as he thought.  He quickly performed first aid, stabilizing her so that she wouldn't bleed out.  Seeing that this was only a temporary solution though, his mind raced, trying to figure out what to do.  Suddenly a thought came to him and he pulled out his magic fork.  He stared at it intensely for a moment, concentrating his mind, before stabbing the fork into his chest.  He grunted as the utensil dig into him and the magic he'd imbued it with took effect.  As he pulled the fork out, there appeared to be a bright ball of light on the tip of it, a part of his own life force.  He pressed the fork into Eb's arm, barely piercing the skin.  As he did so, the ball of life force rushed into her, healing her wounds and restoring her vitality.  He smiled wearily,*  There, you should be... fine now....  *He then collapsed, unconscious.*

Almost extinct is not nearly extinct enough for Alec. And mostly dead isn't dead enough for him, in terms of demons.
