OOC/Sign Up: Quest to Castle Floret

So, I've decided to create a new RP, my first one. Here's the plot:

The Redwallers are celebrating a feast at the change of seasons: Autumn. During the feast, the Abbot stands up and yells out a riddle after Martin possesses him. He speaks of Castle Floret in Southsward, which will be under attacked by vermin. So, a group of Redwallers quest to Southsward, recruiting the help of the Badger Lord and the Long Patrol of Salamandastron. Along the way, numerous events happen, all leading up to one epic battle between the vermin and the questers.

The idea came to me from a post from James Gryphon, who noted there was only one RP where the vermin were not attacking Redwall (at the time).

We'll need an Abbey warrior (claimed), a few Long Patrol hares and an abbot, as well as a few questers. Feel free to claim one of these, or any other beasts. If any aren't claimed, we can make a character who anyone can control. When signing up, please follow this:

Species: Mole.
Other: Champion digger, one of the questers, not much of a fighter but will fight if necessary.

Name: Lord Barrenstripe.
Occupation: Badgerlord of Salamandastron.
Species: Badger.
Age: About as old as Sunflash the Mace in Outcast of Redwall.
Other: Carries a huge sword as a weapon.

Name: Buck Whoppsbury Picklethorn (Buck for short).
Occupation: Young Long Patrol hare.
Species: Hare.
Age: Still young, about Tammo’s age in The Long Patrol.
Other: carries a claymore for a weapon. Rank is Galloper. Superb tracker and has a large appetite, of course. Well mannered, except for when he's eating. Well trusted by Barrenstripe.

Other: She does not speak like a hare. She was a slave from a pirate ship and was trained in the skills of a spy. When the Long Patrol freed her from the searats, she joined them. Her main weapon is a knife concealed in her tunic, but she also carries a sword at times.

Okay then, I've created the RP thread. Thanks everyone for joining! Feel free to add a character throughout the story (just remember the limit!) and join if you haven't already. Once I decide we've gone too far to join in, I'll post something here. Feel free to discuss anything throughout the RP with me or others either here or via PM.

Skipper and Maudie, could you please maybe move your characters to the wall or something so they can spot the Long Patrol and Barrenstripe? Then we can move on the story line more.
