......... NPC is a contradiction in forum role play.  if it's not a player character it can't do anything because all characters require players to operate.  Am i overthinking this?

@psybox: glad you brought that up. no its not a contradiction because there will be animals in the academy that your character will have to deal with. because i have decided to make everyone that is playing this game a student i will have to play as all of the teachers and targets (NPCs). on some occasions (if i think that one of the players is a good match) i will let someone play as a NPC for better game flow.
